It should be like the movie Pay It Forward every good deed deserves another! I think we should work as a community and if I was to send someone some cards they needed that mean nothing too me, I would hope that karma would come back to em and someone would send cards to me that I needed.

I think its worse when you go through thousands of commons to find some cards that people are asking for, and they dont bother replying to a PM..even a "nah mate" at least doesnt waste any more time

I tend to agree with what everyone has said, they are base cards, and nobody is going to pay $1 each for base cards, so stop complaining, charge him for what postage would cost you and help out a fellow collector!

edit: i also think its a nice gesture giving them to kids at the hospital, better than throwing them away....

I'd pay $1 for commons I need but thats because I think I have everything up to 05/06 but thats jsut me.

I had thousands of commons at one stage, I plucked all the stars and just gave the rest to my mum to give away as she works at a school for mentally disabled kids. They loved them!

They're also good for a bit of protection when sending other cards or even when you do a deal and you know someone collects a player I sometimes add in a few base of that player.

Sorting and organising is part of the hobby, I've spent many hours but thats life. You don't always get paid for everything.
