Alright.... I can't stand it anymore!!!

I have put off posting this thread for awhile now but cannot stand it any longer..... the grammar of the majority of the people on this forum is terrible...

What I'm talking about is improper usage of the following words..

your,there,were

Now many years ago I used to use "your" in place of "you're" as well..... until someone else told me off as well... since then I made an effort to not do it..

I don't wanna seem like a whining fool..... but it just makes your posts hard to read sometimes...

Can we all please read these..

I mean it really isn't that hard to take some time and spell words correctly. There is actually a spell check plugin you can get for the forums - maybe it needs to be installed ? Though that would just be encouraging lazy people

Some grammar mistakes you can put up with, but some posts are riddled with grammatical and spelling errors and it takes more time to actually decipher what they are saying than it should.

I am a bit undecided on this.

I think I can cope with the bad spelling, we all have our little whims and strengths and weaknesses, but I find it really hard to read posts with no full stops or spaces between sentences.

It is important beacuse when a poster does go on a rant it is sometimes impossible to understand what the hell they are on about becuase one thought or point is indecipherable from the next. I think people tend to ignore these sorts of posts, which is not something you want in a forum, is it?

I personally hate the use of texting language, I swear that I must be the only person in the world that still uses complete sentences in text messages. If I receive that text crap, I look at it and go WTF?

I have actually seen this used on here and thought this place was over run by aliens but all my fears were laid to rest as it was a couple of younger members. I've used it from time to time on instant messengers but only to the extent of LOL, ROFL or U etc.
