Put a bet on collingwood
I have I put $20 on them to make the top 8
Put a bet on collingwood
I look forward to getting a 2007 card just like this one...
and another dvd set at the end of the year
And a decent ruckman, remember we relied on Cain Ackland as our main ruckman last year, never a good move..
If Gardiner's knees hold up, and he stays out of Jail we are a show...and its not like we are old, our core group is early 20s i dont know why everyone is saying we missed our chance...
Don't worry mate I won't - I only have money on Adelaide at this stage
Did you know I am known as the sports Jinx, who-ever I bet on loses.......long story but I have a good record on jixing teams (lol).
That is a VERY cool card Justin (I want one) so I thought I would quote you so we could all see it again
A small chance at the top 8 mate
Adelaide
Sydney
St Kilda
West Coast
Fremantle
Melbourne
Then between Geelong, Hawthorn, Richmond & Collingwood for the final 2 spots !
No love for the Hawks? After the way we finished last season, I think we'll have a sniff at the top 8!
Hawthorn's Bailey suffers knee injury
Wednesday Jan 10 19:41 AEDT
Promising Hawthorn ruckman Max Bailey has suffered a season-ending knee injury during a routine training drill.
The 18-year-old Bailey was carried off the ground after colliding with a teammate.
Scans later confirmed he had ruptured the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee and would require a reconstruction.
"Max is an exciting young player and the club was looking forward to seeing him progress in 2007 in ruck support to Robert Campbell and Simon Taylor," said Hawthorn's general manager of football operations Mark Evans.
"As unfortunate as this is for Max, it will give some of the young developing ruckmen an opportunity to play senior football during the year."
Bailey made his senior debut late in 2006, playing four AFL games in his debut year.
He was selected at No.18 by the Hawks in the 2005 national draft.
Hawthorn's No.1 rucking position is up for grabs following Peter Everitt's departure to Sydney.
