Just remember guys and girls, this thread is no more than an expression of interest to see if we could feasibly do a share. Based on the feedback received so far it looks like we will be able to run 1. There is probably no way I could do 2 of them. That doesn't mean that someone else can't run one as well.
I am seriously thinking about jumping on 1 set and breaking it up so that people can have their team but I still have to run the plan past wifey yet.
Once the sell sheet is released and we can put some real prices on each team. I will then put something out formally for interested parties. It may even be that payment could be required up front, I'm not sure yet.
Once I know if I can commit 100% I will let everyone know through this thread.
Have only just seen this thread and as a master set collector , I think Traders may have been my last due to the skyrocketing price. That being said I would probably jump in a Manly share , although two have requested before me.
Cheers Mark. And I'd be able to run a second. The minister for peace and finance has signed off on it. One way we could do it is get everyone to pay first and then buy it
In modern card collecting times, this is actually how I'd prefer to collect my team sets. An uncomfortable but realistic and ultimately reasonable one-off price. It takes the stress of the lolly scramble away and ensures a fair distribution. Also saves me paying some of the Ebay sellers who I don't enjoy dealing with. Might leave a fair few unopened boxes in releases though.
Master set collecting was much more fun, especially busting, but I can stomach this new change. Especially as the cards are getting nicer (aside from the Donald Trump designed Oates 1/1).

Just thinking about the 2008 masters set. Commons the platinum/silver finish. All the other inserts oversized and of course the different sigs and brilliant folder.
Set the set apart from the regular set really well
