2016 Elite Master set - update page 13

Just remember guys and girls, this thread is no more than an expression of interest to see if we could feasibly do a share. Based on the feedback received so far it looks like we will be able to run 1. There is probably no way I could do 2 of them. That doesn't mean that someone else can't run one as well.

I am seriously thinking about jumping on 1 set and breaking it up so that people can have their team but I still have to run the plan past wifey yet.

Once the sell sheet is released and we can put some real prices on each team. I will then put something out formally for interested parties. It may even be that payment could be required up front, I'm not sure yet.

Once I know if I can commit 100% I will let everyone know through this thread.

Happy to pay upfront

Have only just seen this thread and as a master set collector , I think Traders may have been my last due to the skyrocketing price. That being said I would probably jump in a Manly share , although two have requested before me.

It would include both the mojo sets and all signature cards.

Also, I expect the distribution of inserts across teams to be very even this year (outside the jersey teams).
Any ideas how the numbering would be done on them Michael??

Would they be not numbered individually or would they have a special master set number??

From what I've heard they will be special numbered as in MS1 (master set 1 etc) so as not to take away from the normal numbers

In modern card collecting times, this is actually how I'd prefer to collect my team sets. An uncomfortable but realistic and ultimately reasonable one-off price. It takes the stress of the lolly scramble away and ensures a fair distribution. Also saves me paying some of the Ebay sellers who I don't enjoy dealing with. Might leave a fair few unopened boxes in releases though.

Master set collecting was much more fun, especially busting, but I can stomach this new change. Especially as the cards are getting nicer (aside from the Donald Trump designed Oates 1/1).

Wouldnt also go for a regular team set?

What's people's thoughts would the common and Lower level insert sets be specially marked to signify that they are master set cards

IMO they would have to be

Just thinking about the 2008 masters set. Commons the platinum/silver finish. All the other inserts oversized and of course the different sigs and brilliant folder.

Set the set apart from the regular set really well

Probably gonna have to drop out, won't have the money to do this. Someone else can take my spot, I think there's a few on the waiting list
