2015 Ultimate NRL collection

Interesting how daytrader has on ebay both Thurston and Radradra and by coincidence they are bot number 18.

How does that happen ? what are the odds.

Yea, considering he also has the AFL #001 and a #017, I thought that was fairly convenient. Are these sealed in anyway when you receive them or can you see what your getting if you just open the box?

i purchased the peter brock sets from TapNplay, i asked them if i could request the same number for each release and they said once sealed they had no idea what number it was

the seller i got it from had a list of numbers i could basically choose from (fully sealed still), so they had obviously already been informed of the numbers.

Always a way around the system, could be something as simple as someone taking note when the cards are packaged...who really knows

I think that these boxed sets will be going for $70-$80 in the next few months
Agreed, I can't see them holding their current value

Although i have just seen that the Gold coin sold for $500, so if the resellers/distributors know whats in the boxes, the average consumer is at a huge disadvantage

That will be the big issue. Are boxes searchable? If so we may even see the boxes go cheaper if all the gold coins and redemptions are pilfered.

ESP have a history of boxes being sent out in case runs with similarities.

2013 Traders had runs of Young Gun signatures, remember there were 3-4 we didn't see at all for the first few weeks
One retailer last year got the vast majority of DCE sigs
There have been people who have got a run of very low numbers and ones.
Last year in two cases every numbered card I got was in the 30s

ESP have done a pretty good job at preventing case searching in the past

Boxes can't be searched , unless there is inside information that we don't know about.
After jagging my JT signature in my first box , I decided to buy 3 more and have a go.
Score a coloured coin but nothing else , so I think I will split a box worth of cards and sell the TUC No.1 Cowboys 2015 NRL Premiers.jpg TUC No.2 Dally M Medallist JT.jpg TUC No.3 Clive Churchill Medallist JT.jpg TUC No.4 2015 Ken Stephen Medallist Luke Douglas.jpg TUC No.5 2015 Provan Summons Medallist JT.jpg TUC No.6 Captains of the year . Just while we are on the numbers topic.
If anyone goes to buy a coloured coin , the certificate will say ---- Coloured Fine Silver Frosted. No.005 etc
I noticed someone had advertised a coloured coin and had a photo of a normal Fine Silver Frosted Low number certificate with it.
I have sent them a message and presume they may have made an error - benefit of the doubt

Pretty basic looking card there, his rookie year auto is much better than the scribble he does these days. Can't blame JT he is man in demand, so a quick sig makes sense.
