What a terrific winner - seems like a hardworking, decent young bloke. A lot of Eagles fans on BigFooty rip the Christ out of Matt Priddis, he has been a real whipping boy over the years.
Great speech - starts off by wishing Hawthorn and Sydney good luck, then says that he can't compare himself to previous winners, then finishes by thanking his family. Bloody glad I stayed up to watch now!

Didnt see that coming but well done Priddis. Tough for Fyfe tho. Thought Selwood was a bit stiff. Had a real good end of the season but could only pick up 1's and the odd 2. My how the brownlow has changed. Even 5 years ago u wouldnt get a vote in a game u lose by more than 4 goals. Tonight 4 times a melbourne player got BOG in a loss.

Cops a beating on Bigfooty.
A few have a real axe to grind and think all our issues can be fixed with removing Priddis.
He has his faults but game in game out he gives his all and plays his role. Quite a few of our boys could do with some of his hardness.
If they want to get the best our of themselves they need look no further than Matt Priddis for a role model.
Well this year they didn't make one. Though Ablett refused to sign. Didn't make a Cooney in 09 either.
I hope next year is a brownlow medal sig year.
