Crikey, the Grand Final footy record is $15....I can remember when it used to be about half that. These of course are the days before you were even born @Jesse Dart!

Anyway, tradition dictates that I buy it every year!

Speaking of tradition.....what do you all do each Grand Final eve and on Grand Final day?

I attempt to stay awake to watch the Grand Final marathon on Ch 7 Friday night and eventually record from about 2am onwards...ZZZ ZZZ ZZZZZZZ

Saturday morning it's up at 7-ish, showered etc, then watch the North Melbourne breakfast on tv, then whack it on Ch 7 for the rest of the day....although the Fox Footy pre and post-match stuff means I will keep flicking.

That was the one. A funny story I've never shared about that.

The Christmas before I got AFL Premiership 2004 on my old PlayStation. The interchange players on the bench always swung their legs back and forth. So for some reason I did that at the GF footy show.

The opener this year was terrible apart from 'uptown Gil' and 'Esssendon'

If ever a guy deserves to win "Football personality of the year" at the Grand Final breakfast, it is Billy. His stuff on Triple M is hysterical.

Is it just me or is a lot of the former players, coaches etc. writing off Hawthorn? Sydney and Buddy have been talked up all week.

I reckon at least 8 out of every 10 media personalities have picked sydney - I don't think they can see past Franklin, Tippett and Reid up forward. It was much the same in 2008 though with Geelong, so it hasn't really worried me this week.

The Brownlow medal result was a perfect illustration of how little the media actually knows - it is just that with so many people IN the media, someone's opinion has to eventually be the right one

But some of the 'expert commentators' with picking Sydney by over 30 points is ridiculous in my opinion, generally Grand Finals are always very close and I cant see this one being any different with Class players on both sides and on every part of the ground. I am going to be so nervous and excited tomorrow, what about you @Matty76 ?
