What a cracking first day - not sure the 3.30AM finishes are good for the health - but gee, it looks like it'll be as good as 2005...
Couple of ripper deliveries; Siddle on Root, and Jimmy A on Pup. Quality stuff, that.
Wattos up to his usual tricks, smacks a few boundaries then has a brain fade...see also he's got a niggle from bowling once again - for goodness sake Aus selectors, if he can't bowl, then send him home and get a real allrounder.....
Agree 100% we need Mr Cricket back. Our batting seems a bit fragile at the mo.
Bring on day 2!!

You know what would be annoying? I've sold two Phil Hughes elite signature cards from 2009/10 Select in the last 6 months, so if he absolutely dominates this series, 1000 runs and a triple hundred, and the card rises in value to >$100 I'll be kicking myself (I don't think he will though... :P)

So we're pretty pathetic again hey? No one knows how to bat in a test match anymore, do they realise there's five days? Been a few good balls that you can understand people getting out of...but it's just getting to be a bit of a broken record, hardly anyway values their wicket the way someone like Steve Waugh did.
