2012 show Triple signature pic

Mario had to pull out of the show at the last minute. That may be why it looks like he signed with a chisel.

That's correct but still no excuse for the thick texta very ordinary. You would think they would know better. It was one of the guys from ESP that went to Marios place in the morning of the show to get them signed.

Maybe he did not have time to drop into an Officeworks to get the right pen. Its definitely not great but we dont really know what the situation was. Im sure if they decided not to get Mario to sign because they did not have the right pen everyone would be screaming about that. Sometimes you cant win.

I find it amusing that some people want to write off any future ESP release based on a card at a cardshow......:confused:

I think ESP are jumping in the deepend of the pool to soon they should do a bit more research & tread lightly till they are confident about the market they are trying to break into. Not listen to a few clowns who really don't know the market as they make out they do. IMO this release coming is way to expensive because you could buy 3 packs for $24.00 & only end up with common cards
at $8.00 per pack there should of been at least a parralell card per pack not 1 in 3 packs. Also compare Select Dynasty to ESP & I would rather buy 2 cases of Dynasty than 3 cases of ESP for my $$$ as the value & return Or resale value is much better on the Select release. It's going to be a very hard job for ESP to find the right balance for value for the consumer & profit for them to survive the HIGHLY crittical NRL market as we all know you can never please everyone there will always be whingers no matter what they do.:cautious:

^^Could not agree more. By the look off all the product they have planned for next year i think they may have got 2-3 years ahead of themselves.

I have also been amused buy some of the "sellers" they have been talking to.

From talking to a few people around the traps pretty much anyone at all that would talk to them. A heap of sellers from ebay got contacted by them.

Its why i found the comment about trying to cut the ebay single sellers out of the market so odd since those where they guys they were speaking to about what to make. Bizarre.

Hahaha talking down to whingers after a long post full of whinging.
I think people who plan on collecting ESP would be rejoicing at the fact that you dont seem keen.

You need to read my post again a bit slower so you understand what I'm saying Because obviouslly you read what you want to interprate & always put words in everyones mouths . I just stated some FACTS & gave my opinion.I'm not whinging like you do in every post you do you must be a very negative person who needs to get a life. This forum is for everyone to use & talk about hobby they like & if you rejoice in me not buying something then good luck to you & have a happy life.:goat:

since when do collectors really worry about value, return or resale value over the joy of just collecting?

A true collector has to worry about price & value otherwise how do you complete your PC & sets with over priced cards & expect to trade over valued cards. I can't speak for all but I always try & complete my Master Sets for the lowest of $$$ possible. If we weren't mindful of what we spend on our collection we would stuggle to complet our sets. We all have limited funds for our Hobby it's not an open cheque book I'm sure. Also I'm sure no one on here want a PC that was worth half of what they paid, we all hope to make a profit if ever we had to sell some of it or all of it.

dont you have like 2 of every card select has ever made? surely that takes the fun out of it all?

What I have & don't have is no concern of yours & how i get fun is in collecting whatever cards I like I don't judge what you or Justin have or do,So don't judge what I do or don't do it's none of your business.:cautious:

Collectors all have different priorities and views on how they want to collect.

Personally all I care about is collecting Knights cards ... and I love my collection so don't particularly care how much it costs me. I'd rather have it complete than have a few extra dollars in my back pocket.

If my collection halved in value I wouldn't give a stuff, coz I love it and the Knights so much that I will never sell it ... I'll take it to my deathbed, and leave it to any children I might have, who I pray to god support the Knights (they'd better, or they're liable to be adopted out  ).

That's fine. How & why we each collect is a personal choice that's the beauty about collecting we each do it to suit our financial means & wants.
You can collect a player or a team or a series or a manufacturer or all cards ever made it dosen't matter it's a HOBBY there is no set rules who is right or who is wrong. The main thing is you love it with a passion & it's a way to relax & unwind from the problems & stress of every day life.:D
