I have spoken to Select today ans they confirmed the second set will be out but they do not have a release date yet or details of the cards that will come out.
I would like to see a Origin Legends set that is then turned into a signature set - but Select probably dont want to pay license fees to the NRL and ARL.
I would love to see a Lockyer sign or tribute set
I do believe the QRL has asked too much money in the past for Queensland SOO cards etc...............now I will throw this out there, what about a Referee / Rules combined subset, Ref on the front and rules on the reverse, highlight the great refs of the past and present??
never enough lockyer sigs or maybe another wally lewis signature
FoR something differrent I'd like to see a Moments in League sub series, it could be Moments in origin / GF Moments / Big shots I for one am tired of 2 x base sets eg 190 commons and a 190 jersey card set, how about some action shots, something completley differrent, something that celebrates the game not just repetitive profile shots
For example:
Wally and MG nose to nose
Back door Benny bleeding on his mother or his missed field goal in the 89 GF
Scott Sattler's tackle in the 2003 Grand Final.
Mals try at Old Trafford to win 2nd test
Mick DeVere and the staple gun
ETC ETC ETC
If not a Sig for Lockyer - how about Case Card 300 games
ET 300 Game Card would be better
Why cant they do the #/50 Case Card sigs still? I think they still do them for AFL.
Hey found this tweet from Friday night from Brodie Smith's (AFL Player) twitter
"Hand a bit sore after signing 300 footy cards!! Took an hour to do..still was more entertaining than the royal wedding".
Usually (but not always) Select keep things similar across series. Brodie Smith is a young player - maybe we are getting another series of Top Prospects.
Will have to keep an eye on twitter for any NRL players doing the same.

[/COLOR]Or the Ainscough head high penalty GF try in 1999!
So that would be a limited edition set of zero? LOL.

Make that a 3D MegaMotion card.
LOL. Hampstead, Archer, Suttor, Harrigan, Kelvin Jeffes, Steve Clark, Annesley, Shane Hayne, Tim Mander, Paul Simpkins, Jared Maxwell, Badger, Jason Robinson, Mogsheen Jadwat, Paul McBlane...what a sub set. Better if sig chase cards.
