2011 Series 2

I have spoken to Steve at CardZone today who confirmed there is going to be a series 2 this yr. What would everyone like to see this yr. for me it would be the following:-
1. Top Prospects 1:36
2. NRL Signature Cards - 1:72 the teams whch weren't in series 1
3. Signature Redemption Cards - 1 per case - 2 state of origin capt's and Premeirship captain

I know its alot of signature cards but I believe this yr's TP's would be one of the Best

i dont mind those choices i would however add international captains perhaps now there would be some real top cards

my real main concern is that series 2 will obviously be dearer to buy but are we going to get the same quality as series 1 ????????

no not yet but i would say end of july

good news. id like some better insert subsets than club players and team of the year.

id like top prospects. and dally M auto series mainly a michael gordon top point scorer auto ahah (bias much)

if they were to do top prospects i hope they choose younger rookies not older people.

eg Bulldogs - Barba
Penrith - Earl
manly - buhrer
Eels - Loko
Storm - Widdop

FoR something differrent I'd like to see a Moments in League sub series, it could be Moments in origin / GF Moments / Big shots I for one am tired of 2 x base sets eg 190 commons and a 190 jersey card set, how about some action shots, something completley differrent, something that celebrates the game not just repetitive profile shots

For example:

Wally and MG nose to nose

Back door Benny bleeding on his mother or his missed field goal in the 89 GF

Scott Sattler's tackle in the 2003 Grand Final.

Mals try at Old Trafford to win 2nd test

Mick DeVere and the staple gun

Exactly right, it will be similar to what has already been done. Some of these ideas - especially hobo's Moments in League sub series sounds awesome though

I have spoken to Select today ans they confirmed the second set will be out but they do not have a release date yet or details of the cards that will come out.

I would like to see a Origin Legends set that is then turned into a signature set - but Select probably dont want to pay license fees to the NRL and ARL.

I've heard on the grapevine that the 2nd series of NRL will be out by or before mid July & their are 4 very high end signatures & the cards are being printed in China but not by the same company that printed the Champions & the quality is VERY GOOD. My guess would be that they will feature the dalley M winners from 2009 & 2010, we will just have to wait & see. I can hardly wait for them to be raleased as I'm over the 2011 Champions. The whisper is their will be only 100 of each signature & their will only be 12 boxes per case & 0nly 400 cases.
