2011 Select NRL One Community Cards

These are a promotional card done by the NRL not us. We have no other details.

The NRL seems to being doing a better job designing Select's cards than Select does!

The back of the card is exactly the same as the 2011 champions - look at the promo cards

to me it looks as though Select would have made these cards for the NRL for promo visits. No other card maker would make them and use the select logo. It seems very weird that select are backing away from these. they are probably embarrassed that the NRL have designed better cards than them.

Well I emailed the seller on ebay, and as far as he knows, it is just the six cards that were produced. Just in case anyone is wondering if there were others, for their team collections.

Hello,

Thanks for your enquiry the cards are a chaser card and apart of the 2011 range.
There were 6 cards with one community messages on the back of the card. There were 100,000 cards printed and distributed throughout Australia for community carnival.

So there are 16666.66 of each card of which one of each has appeared

If there are 16666 of each that is probably more common than a regular base card from a second series. Should see plenty of them around then but so far I have only seen a few on ebay.

There was a set released this year which consisted of 6 cards: Cronk, Maloney, Hayne, Chery-Evans, Gidley and Thaiday. Im not sure how many cards were released in the 1st set in 2011
