typical england. leaving qualification to their final match...always enjoy watching them struggle.
if the rooney red card is 'the most pathetic sending off' joe hart has seen in 'his entire life' he really needs to watch more football...what a ridiculous statement. says he saw the whole thing. from 45yards away...? even more ridiculous since it was definately red worthy.
the mighty germans just keep on rolling. first team to qualify, playing better than in the EC or WC. this time theyll win it for sure...

mclaren to newcastle jets...hahaha. the quote from his agent sums it up: 'with all due respect to australian football, steve is not quite ready for semi-retirement!'

Agreed about Hart - what a twat - that was a complete no brainer. Even Rooney knew it, and notice no one else complained - they all knew...

Not sure what Fergie was doing with that formation he started with last night. Maybe had one eye on champions league and man city game this week...

Man City Looked the goods again this week. :)

anyone who hasnt seen it check out milners and balotellis goals, worth the watch for sure.

I thought City's lineup up today was pretty defeensive in comparision to other weeks. No Silva, Nasri, Aguero. They played Barry, De Jong, Yaya and Milner and we scored 4 times.

That's now 27 goals in 8 EPL games.....

Balotelli is a different player now, his box of tricks are fantastic and confidence is sky high.

Ryan Giggs looked like he was meeting a lady that night the way he moved his groin out of the way of Gerrards goal! Very strange. Another late equaliser for United though, the masters of that... City up by 2 pts but have had the easier draw so far without a doubt. Manchester Derby this weekend - City have only scored 2 goals twice this year, 3 or more in the rest, so u know there'll be goals in it!

I have absolutely no respect for either Adam or Suarez anymore. Adam should of been yellow carded for his dives, one of which handed pool a free kick which resulted in a goal and Suarez was rolling around and diving all day. It was ridiculous really.

Ferguson a touch complacent i reckon.

As a Liverpool fan, I must admit that seeing Suarez throw himself onto the pitch after even the slightest contact is becoming extremely tiresome. It annoys me more because anyone who can create a goal like he did in the previous Liverpool v United fixture at Anfield with his pace and footwork doesn't need to bloody well dive!

this is fair enough i agree but in saying that evra did it too.

yeah but Evra got his legs kicked out on the first occasion and that was in defence!

Not one United player dived last night for a penalty/free kick.. it seems to be the same culprits responsible..

Was an interesting team alright - he kinda explained the lineup before the game though and u could see what he was thinking

Every team has them, Balotelli flops like a fish for City, Nani for United... Refs need to hand out cards more..... wouldn't worry me if it was red ones in the penalty area...

Liverpool were unlucky not to get a late winner, Suarez annoys the crap out of my with his carrying on. Evra is a ****er. Overall a pretty sloppy game by both teams and probably deserved to be a draw.

not going to lie he was clipped. but he exaggerated it way beyond proportion. anyone catch the chelsea game? i feel asleep in the gap between it and city the game

Evra has made an official complaint to ref Andre Marriner who has reported an incident that allegedly involved racism to the FA and will be further investigated. According to Evra Luis Suarez made racial remarks.

Only because Nani was on the bench for the most part. When it comes to diving, him and the biter are as bad as each other. Think 1-1 was fair enough. Balotellis goal was a cracker, as was Milners. Milners came from a dubious offside call down the other end though on Bent, when it looked like Villa might be making a game of it.

yeah, united have just as much a history of divers as any other squad. youll never stamp it out of football unfortunately.
city looking dangerous. no aguero, no silva, no nasri, no tevez, no dzeko but 4 goals...looking forward to this derby next week. cant remember city beating united @ OT for quite some time tho?

Exactly to go on about Saurez diving and not mentioning Nani is abit hypocrytical all teams do it ... I think Liverpool were unlucky not to get away with the 3 points, maybe im biased..
I think Evra is making it up, if he was been abused why didn't he complain then and there or some push and shove, Evra had the sh1ts with the refs before the game even startred if you watch the replay, when Gerrard and Evra where in the centre with the refs for the toss, the ref said something to the both of them, Evra then statred acting like a tool, shaking his head right up to kick off...
