Wade is showing in the match today that he is a force in the keeping department.
Despite the fact that he didn't score well in the batting department, his dexterity and nimbleness in the keeping domain is sensational.
Sensational saves to this point show that he is deserving of replacing Haddin in all forms of the game

I watched him in the South African series. Looks the goods. I can't understand why Australia bowled around the wicket to him though very strong on the off side and if you get it wrong he just flicks you off the pads.
wow, what a game. well done to the Tassie boys but more to the SA guys, great win by the red backs. Bailey and Punter were awesome in the run chase. shame Ricky didnt get more of the strike in the last over, Falkner just couldnt get the job done.

Falkner choked at the end. He could easily have gotten bat on ball but just let his nerves get the better of him. Just a thought, SA got bowled out for their 285, Tassie were only 4 wickets down for the same score, yet SA win the match. I think they need to look at this home ground advantage rule, based on the end scores ive just stated i think Tassie have every right to be p*ssed off. But then again, only have themselves to blame.
that was an awesome game for the ryobi final, so many twists and turns, very exciting. yeah have to agree with you darren on the countback system, in a two horse final it should come down to what happens on the day, not during the season, countback should just involve what happened on the day. how were the temperatures ? thats just insanity
I don't think I have ever seen a defeat snatched from the jaws of victory quite like the one last night (well it was a tie, but you know what I mean). Brilliant final over from Gary Putland, I remember when he first played for the Redbacks, he was medium pace with a bit of natural angle and not much else.
I feel for George Bailey, he had played glances and reverse sweeps for 10 overs and the shot was probably on - even after he was dismissed the Tigers should have won it.
Once again, though, the team bowling second was allowed far, far too much time to bowl their overs - the actual telecast was scheduled to finish at 9:30pm yet I think the last ball was bowled at 9:40 or thereabouts. If the team bowling first was as slow, the possibility of docked overs or fines could have been raised, so why not the team bowling 2nd? Particularly as it wasn't as stinking f**king hot as when the Tigers fielded.
