Hey Cricket Fans

I thought i'd do a thread on the 2011/12 Australian Summer of Cricket.
Basically to talk about the New Changes in the Australian Cricket Team.
Who Should Stay, Who should Go and Who Should be given a Chance?

Also About the Test Series against New Zealand and than India.
The 2 T20's Against India.
and the 2012 Commonwealth Bank Series involving Australia, Sri Lanka and India.
I will Keep You Up to date with what is going on as much as possible:v:

Hi Harsha,

Starc did well working over McCallum.
Just a shame that they couldn't hold onto the catches and the Kiwis would have been on their knees.

Unfortunately we will have to develop our stocks now that the stalwarts have gone.

As much as Mitchell Johnson is doing bad. I Hope he will be back to his best. I like him as a cricketer.

As Greg Chappell said: Mitchell bowls balls that could get any test batsman out, but he also bowls balls that could be put away by a club cricketer.

You couldn't find a guy who likes Johnson more than me; when he's in form, he's a quick left armer who takes it to the batsman and can absolutely destroy teams, and when he has the willow in hand, he hits the ball hard and far. BUT at his worst he leaks runs at an alarming rate, doesn't test even the poorest of Test batsman.

I wish him nothing but the best, both as a cricketer and as a person, but he'll be 31 by the next Test series for which he'll be fit. Believe me, I hope he comes back and gets 250 Test wickets and adds another Test century to his tally but I think Cutting, Copeland, Siddle, Pattinson, Starc, Coutler-Nile, and Hazlewood will be keeping him out.

Same and I definitely Hope he Comes back. Always Been Fan. With Him being out i want Starc to break into the Team. Starc should be Australia's 1st Choice Left Arm Fast-Medium bowler when Johnson isn't playing. But it would be awesome if one day Starc and Johnson bowled in the same attack (2 Left Armers Hitting the deck hard with the New Ball). Don't Forget Hilfenhaus is try to break his way back into the Team.

Hilf another one who needs to develop some other tricks; I think he'll be stuck in the Sheffield Shield unless he can show something more than he did in his first 17 Tests. He was decent, but his key numbers (34.65 avg, 3.02 RPO and 68.7 St/R) show someone just not quite good enough.

yeah its good to see some aussie bowlers who trouble the opposition batsman, its been a while since it has happened on a consistent basis. lyon bowled really well yesterday and the over he bowled resulting in the williamson wicket was very exciting and encouraging to watch, lets hope he can continue. the old firm of hilf, johnson, bollinger and even siddle need to be looking over their shoulders at the young guys because these guys are already looking like they know what it is all about. the older four have been stuffing around for years, some plagued by injury, but these young guys look like they are going to grab their chances and never let go. its gonna be great when we get to the situation of having to leave out a bowler who is both fit and performing, rather than the merry go round of poor form and injuries that seems to dictate the bowling selections at present

For me this has been an area in which Australia has really fallen; I don't remember Mark Waugh or Tubby Taylor spilling catches and even poor fielders such as Langer improved until they were very good by the time they retired. Khawaja and Hughes haven't shown any fielding acumen so far; if anything Warner would be valuable to the team because of his fielding skills
