shouldve been, if it wasnt for all the closet wedding freaks...
doubt vermaelen will start tho. he may say he's fit, but arsene doesnt rush back players...
league could be decided tonite.
go gunners, geordies & hammers!!!

Yeah he prob wont, but Arsene has a thing for doing some strange selections in this fixture, and a half fit Vermaelen is better than half the crap in the team. Hopefully we make united wait and earn the title against someone else

Should be a good match tonight, i'm thinking Ji-Sung Park is a certainty considering his scoring records against the bigger clubs.. it should look like this...

Van der Sar
Evra Vidic Smalling Rafael
Nani Park Carrick Valencia
Hernandez Rooney

Let the old man die in peace...

just saw this article about giggs. not trying to take anything away from someone who will go down as a legend of the game, not just united, but i havent seen giggs perform well in over two seasons. his passing always seems to be a bit off, he doesnt beat players anymore, and his first touch is letting him down plenty. is it just me?

it's just you ;)

I think he has been awesome.. look at some of the plays he created and finished in the Schalke game..

and Van der Sar is saying that he is having regrets about retiring at the end of the season.. I hope he changes his mind!

The teams are in.

Man United- Van Der Sar, Fabio, Ferdinand, Vidic, Evra, Nani, Carrick, Anderson, Park, Rooney, Hernandez.

No Cesc for Arsenal and Berbatov returns to the bench.

No Cesc, no worries... hes a shadow of the player he has been in recent years atm, 35mil hasn't looked so good.... good to see Ramsay back in, i like our lineup, obviously we'd be stronger with a full fit Vermaelen in the side but looks nice and attacking, we'll either press you the whole game and lose 1-0 or it could be a 3-2 thriller.. would just like to return to winning ways..

CMON ARSENAL

Will have to get used to playing without Cesc at some stage.
Forget Arsenals demise the last few weeks, its the Gunners vs ManUre. Come on boys

Bloody hell TAB have Arsenal favourites. Not sure about that

how can you possibly miss that? 18 games with this ref united unbeaten and hes going for a 19th! get in...

The ref's had more touches than Rooney! get out of the bloody way!

well i'll admit that Chris Foy was horrendous that half.

He got in the way 3 times which lost Arsenal possesion and missed a pretty obvious penalty. Hopefully United are better in the second half ;)

what i dont get is, the ball was nowhere near his head, yet they give the corner? but dont give the penalty because they didnt see it? so why the corner even?

Ok that handball tough to pick up in full speed on tv. No excuse for ref or linesman, I mean they paid the corner so saw the contact

Well for me, a deserving end to a horrible match. I would say United are still in pole position but will need to pull something special out for next game against Chelsea..

Its a shame its gonna help Chelsea, but as I said at the start of the match, will take a win over Man IOU any day

One - Nillllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll to THE ARSENAL

i wish Alex Ferguson would open his eyes and realise that Anderson is rubbish! He panics on the ball, sell him.

ref had a shocker. missed two penalties, and was an actual disturbance in play...
right result tho.
makes next weeks game all the more interesting.

Wasn't the refereeing shocking over the weekend?

The two goals at Stamford Bridge were wrong decisions, the first one (most of you would of heard of) was an absolute howler from Gomes but the ball failed to completely cross the line and the second was offside.

In the United-Arsenal match, it was even worse with the ref missing 2 penalty calls. In saying that, i'd admit that we were on the receiving end of most of the calls and simply didn't deserve to win the match based on our mentality.
