Nah if Barca couldn't afford him before no chance after buying Mash the other day. MA1 has been solid in goal so far this season but we need a new number one, either Schwarzer or surely Wengers got someone else lined up. A world class keeper would obviously benefit us in goal but also give more confidence to the back four. It would also benefit our younger keepers as well to learn off of. Sorry to keep on about it but in my opinion this really is imperative to our season! Tense couple of hours coming up for mine...

I read somewhere that Wenger might put in a last minute bid for Lyon keeper Hugo Lloris. Don't see the move happening though.

Other ones i heard was Robbie Keane going to Besiktas and Grafite to Everton

nothing exciting happened guys:(

What a let down. Reports of a late £4 mil bid for Schwarzer untrue according to Mark Hughes. In Arsene we trust! Strange though to be openly searching for a new keeper all transfer season and not signing one. Hopefully some reverse psychology on MA1, Flappy and Mannone... Or at least just Big Al (hopefully there will be no need to call the other two into action) In separate news Milan have done alright with Ibrahimovich and Robinho up front now. And Hleb back in the Premier League with Birmingham. What a cracking time he's had after leaving the Emirates for Barca and the biggest news of the day? Adebayor signed on for UK Big Brother. Fair enough, only getting paid £170000 a week at City...

Milan won't win anything with Robinho up front! Classic about Ade!!! After his spout about playing time he might get more time to do that! Hadn't heard that one.

I'm also stunned that the Arse didn't sign a keeper - as some one said on BBC, Almunia will never win a medal....

That Van der Vaart that the spuds might've signed - obviously dutch and some kind of good by all accounts - I've never heard of him!

How can't you have heard of Van Der Vaart??

Long story short, he is basically like Owen, a good footballer but is benched quite a bit because his other teammates outclass him and he has problems with injuries etc.

Probably cos he played for Real and I never follow them. Don't watch much Euro footy cos City's never been in it!!

So if he's like Owen is he always injured and has a gambling problem?? ;)
