2008/09 Match Attax - Find Fabregas, did anyone find one?

gday gents,
just wondering, in the 2008/09 Topps Match Attax there were 100 signed Cesc Fabregas cards, does anyone know of any that popped up in Australia? According to the Match Attax website, there were supposedly 2 in Australia. You would enter a code if you found one, and they'd mark on a world map whether a card had been found in a particular location. I never believed this, as if the 2 had been found in Australia and the codes entered, why would Topps display on the net that both auto's had been found? ( I know I wouldn't of bought about 30 boxes... )

Did a search on here but couldn't find anythin...

yeah they sell Match Attax here mate I bought loads of packs but didn't find one.. New Season is Out soon apparently

Yeah - coming out October 7th.

Hundered Clubs are so far: Ferdinand and Fabregas.

There are;

320 base cards
20 Star Players
20 Stars Signings
20 Showboat cards
60 MOTM cards
20 Managers
4 hundered club
trophy card.

do either of you know where they sell them in queensland?

Ferdinand?? Weird. I thought if any defender would get it in the Prem it would be out of Ashley Cole or Nemanja Vidic (i know Rio has had one before). You'd have to assume the other two are Rooney and Drogba surely?

From the pics i have seen the collection looks sweet, wasn't going to collect them this year but if you guys are i will and we can get some trades happening.

The other two hundered clubs have to be a striker and a goalkeeper. It will most likely be Rooney, because in the Starter Pack it shows Drogba being a Limited Edition. Reckon Reina might get goalkeeper because van Der Sar has got it now for the past two years and I reckon Cech is losing his authority on the game.

I am hopefully getting a 100-pack box for Christmas so I will be open to any trades then.

I don't think I'll bother. I'll grab an album and a box, but just not enough variety for me. They are great looking cards though. I know its been mentioned on OCT before, but Topps really need to release a more premium set of EPL cards as well as the Match Attax. I'm sure they do well out of the Match Attax, but when you have the licence for the most popular league of any sport in the world, you'd make the most of it wouldn't you?
