So happy for Zo especially and Payton finally getting their rings. How good is Haslem, he sucks in NBA Live 06. Maybe they'll update his character next year. Very happy.

Hey you guys stop tainting this thread with your profits! 
They deserved that series! Dirk was dissapointing for all 6 games, he just sat back like he was scared?!? He was definately not playing like he was the superstar of this team, if he was they would have had a better chance! In saying that the rest of the team showed what they could do without Dirk in the first 2 games, but then died afterwards! Oh well, good luck to Avery and the boys next season!

At least next season the mavs can look forward to a couple of things;
firstly shaq will age another yr older
secondly a couple of miami players would've retired, making life a little easier for them, should they face each other again.
I'm just happy to see Zo and glove get their rings. Alot of player's go through their careers without one, eg. Malone, but these guys are lucky, good on them.

i honestly thought they were pretenders after the first 2 games, mavs seemed so deep and strong, but they just disintegrated. who would have thought the heat could win with the average series shaq had??? it was all wade baby, mavs had no answers for him, he is truly a superstar now, up there in the top 5 in the league no doubt. a ring, finals mvp, all star games, all nba team,all defensive team...hes done so much in such a short career so far. i think we have many years of enjoyment to come watching this guy!

i dont think so coz he still capable of winning next year but yes they do need a few players coz i know zo and gp will retire and walker may leave to a better pay.Billyhoyle said:

Who would have thought that they would win at the start of the season, they were pretty much outsiders.
