Well that's the first case complete.

I won't bother doing scans for the 2nd case as there isn't much left that hasn't already been seen. Will just scan the Diamonds that i get.

Nope, the case ended up being 5 Impact Sigs and two Diamond Phenomenons from a master.

Last years cases did give you a complete set of Sigs, Sketches, Gems, 2 JDC sets and 2/4 double troubles

No problems, here is a quick rundown.

Select release 2 series of NRL per season. Series 1 in March and series 2 around July.

Series 1 is available in newsagents and is the cheaper series retailing at $2.99 per pack. It doesn't contain any on-card autos. This season it contains the JDC parallel cards (1 per pack), Impact Sigs (Printed sigs - 1 per 6 packs), Sensation Acetate gems (1 per 12 packs), Mascot Acetate Gems (1 per 24 packs) Acetate Diamond Phenomenons (1 per 72 packs)

Series 2 contains on card autos, premiership predictor cards and Redemption signatures. More aimed towards the serious collectors. Most newsagents don't carry them.

Hey Mike, must of been a buzz breaking those boxes! I was havin a ball just following the progress haha..

I'm also new to the forum and was looking at picking up a box for myself. My only questions are:

1. Am i likely to get the entire base set out of one box or will i end up a few short?

2. How much $ am i looking at for a box?
and
3. Where do you buy your boxes from?

Can anyone help me here?

Welcome to the site!

1. Yes, you should get an entire base set out of a box plus have a small pile of doubles as well.

2. You can usually pick them up off someone on this site for around $90 plus postage. Retail price from a newsagecy would set you back $108.

They can be found in Hobby stores, eBay and this website. There will be a case share when they are released which won't be until around July. Price is usually around the $150-$160 for a box.

All the team sets i have at the moment are part of complete sets so don't want to break them up. But i can throw in doubles for free which should go close to completing 2 team sets.

Pain in the ass! Took 2 days to get them all into sets. Should have another 2 cases coming in a week or two so i get to look forward to the whole process again
