I was very pleased to receive this in the mail today.
Brief History:This Tatts Super Shots card was released in 1997 and was only available at Tatts Pokies venues with the purchase of $30 worth of coin. There was a common and a framed Chromium set (only 20 sets made) produced.
The Australian Rules Football Cards site gives it a rarity rating of 3 (1= very common, 10=few known to exist) and I can only assume that the Chromium cards would be even more scarce.
if there was only 20 sets of chromium they would be rarer than the regular because first they are a parallel and second there were only 20 sets ergo 20 chromium cards of each team made
the regular cards were chromium. i understand the framed sets would b rarer, but i am just saying they are the same cards. maybe you can email damien to find for sure. he usually replies pretty quickly
yeah, he runs and owns the whole thing. i think it is pretty much his hobby, much like we collect cards, he compiles them in a database. he would probably have pics of both types of cards too if they exist
no worries buddy. i just had a read of the back of the card as well, and it refers to both types of cards as "chromium." it seems the main difference they are trying to promote is the gold collector's frame the sets are displayed in, and not that the cards are actually any different.
I have received a reply and I owe Nyana an apology it seems that this is a regular card from the set

Hi there,
As far as I am aware there were only Chromium cards issued in this set.
Certainly all the ones that I have in my collection are Chromiums. There
was a prize set issued but I thought that was just a set of the same
cards framed in gold. I'm pretty sure the Chromiums are the only single
cards you will be able to get.
