1994 Masters Steve Renouf signature card price?

Well in this thread alone three people have bought or saw the same card sold for $300 or less within the last couple of years. It is just my opinion ok that I would say $300 or a bit up is a fair price. To say two people offered you above $400 and you knocked them back because you want $500, well I think that is not fair on the people offering that sort of money, above and beyond last known sales. I don't see how being the buyer or seller has anything to do with determining what a fair price for an item considering you came on to an open forum asking for opinions.

Perhaps you should have rephrased the question to what is the highest I could get for this item?

I pity those who wanted to pay in excess to $400 and you wouldn't budge to accommodate.
Once again i was asking for a guide on price as i had not seen any for sale in a while. And 2nd, you don't really have a say at all in what price someone puts on their item. Yes you can give an opinion to what you have seen it sell for in the past but to bag out someone who places a number on a certain item is shameful. On Ebay alone i see 100s of items with prices that are way over their value but that's for the seller to decide what price they want and if they don't sell so be it. You don't decide what others want and if someone wants to pay the price then its up to the buyer to say yeah i will buy it or no i will just leave it. K

Attention please read this as like i said i will not be disappointed if it doesn't sell because its most likely my favourite Broncos signature card.

Yeah it is a great looking set of cards and like i said i actually found 2 x complete sets cleaning out the spare room. To be honest with you its most likely my favourite Broncos signature card and if someone wants it they can either trade or buy. I also don't really mind if i keep it but now that i have set the price if someone buys it or trades, then great. If i keep it, i will not be disappointed. K

No worries good luck.

Your original question was but whats the going price for this signature card?

I wasn't bagging you out, just highlighting that the recent sale prices for this card.

Owen price guide/ Cardzone price guide. Also anyone who is willing to be crucified by releasing one.
What we must remember here the operative word in these releases of price guides.
These list are a GUIDE.
The do not determine was a card is worth. As many of us know there are many factors that determine what a card is worth. It is an endless debate.
Please dont get me started.

I, I, Moz, a set of 1963 cards 18 of them in 1994 was worth at the top end $30,000.00.
These days it is not fetching 20k.
but if a seller was offering his set up for 25k it is up to who ever is selling it if they accept a lower offer.
game set and match.

I agree with you 100%. Its great having a "price guide" but this is not the final outcome of the price in which a certain card or collectable sells for. Things change on a monthly, yearly basis in terms to prices due to the fact of Supply and demand. For example if heaps of the same card show its face all at the same time, prices generally drop. But if one card hasn't showed up for a very long time this item now can set it's own price as lots of collector's might have been waiting for this certain item for ages then the price goes for way overs depending on how badly that one collector wants the item, K
