Word floating around on social media this morning is that D'Angelo Russell has no desire to play for the Sixers, after seeing their erratic draft and trade behavior over the past two seasons. Apparently, he'd rather they pass him over should the lakers not select him and be available for the Knicks. Ouch.
I read the same thing this morning! glad to see a thread up about the inbound draft! i cannot wait.
can we shoot for the stars with the FA's this season ? would anyone want to come over at this current time ?
I'm very open to giving Rondo a go. Biggest competition would be Sacramento, and then New York - in that order. However, it mostly depends on the Ty Lawson sweepstakes. Denver has made it known he's available and could mean he'll wipe out one location.
Denver give up Lawson, potential pick 20 from possible Faried trade to Toronto
Sacramento give up pick 6, Stauskas or McLemore
Denver then has both picks 6 and 7 in the draft - Justice Winslow (defensive SF) and Mario Hezonja (Croatian SG who's stock is making a late surge, and played with Nurkic in Europe) and puts them in a good position to rebuild.
Or maybe I've just been playing to much 2K15 haha
You think Denver would be interested in a sign and trade involving Rondo for Lawson?
