hahahahaha it would be funny if you ripped it and it had $1 US that would be crazy funny on behalf of topps, i reckon they'd do something like that too!

mate i got an idea, instead of ripping the card, feel for where the money is, try and push it over to one side, then, with a stanley knife, cut down the other free side, only make a slide cut, then try and remove the cash? you could always onsell the card as a ripped 1/1 and im sure it will still fetch a premium considering it will still be in near perfect condition save for the cut.

nah, i'll be doing nothing of the sort. the card will be sold unripped
the only questions are when (maybe in the next 6-18 months, maybe in 10-20 years), and for how much

Are you sure that is a good idea? I would tend to agree if it was the normal 1/1 rip card, but the money rips will obviously have a redemption that will expire at some stage, and surely at least part of the value of the card is determined by it's contents. Something to think about.

"sequentially numbered* Rip cards that feature players that are known for being “money.†The Rip Cards contain actual money or redemption cards issued for U.S. Currency between $10 and the ultimate prize a $1,000 dollar bill!"
