They probably didn't want to pay much for them!!!

I spoke with Panini today, and apparently they are looking at doing his true RC as an auto buy back in 2012/13 Hoops. Apparently it came down to timing and being able to source more of the IA cards than the RC at short notice.

So that's why that card was used for this release.

Its the thickness of the pen/texta that takes away from the card and numbering/foil stamping could reduce fakes.
