Beginning tonight I'll be unpacking 6-months of built up COMC goodness that arrived today.

This will also be an ongoing thread providing a photographic journey of PC set chase progression. Will try and have it all completed by Sunday night, starting later tonight.

I'll be listing completed base and insert sets, as well as insert sets which are at least 50% complete.

Why I like: Love the black borderless look, with the colorful player shot, great contrast. Timeless look.

Product: 96-97 - E-X2000
Set: 82/82 COMPLETE
Complete Sets available: Not Numbered
Why I like: I love acetate cards, and this set was revolutionary in design for base cards, probably the first 'Premium' base set. Plus it has the nicest true Kobe RC in my opinion.

Product: 07-08 - Bowman Elevation
Set: 100/100 - COMPLETE
Complete Sets available: 999
Why I like: Clean and crisp design, with plenty of ink, plus I love the pose Durant is in.

Product: 10-11 - Totally Certified
Set: 184/184 COMPLETE
Complete Sets available: 565
Why I Like: My other love besides acetate, and patches...shiny stuff, and these cards are a whole lotta shiny.
Super Saver Side note: I picked up the Paul George for $10 from the U.S, as the bloke thought he'd be a bust, that was kind of a steal looking back.

Why I like: The acetate love continued with this E-X set, another great design, with popping colours. Honestly I can't think of a more consistently impressive product that had multiple years then E-X as you will see again later.

Why I Like: This set is what got me hooked initially on cards way back in the 90s, so much nostalgic value here, so glad to finally complete it.

Why I Like: It's E-X nuff said.

Why I Like: This set is on par with 08-09 Upper Deck Radiance for my favorite base set of all time. So much ink in these cards, and really exciting design.

Product: 07-08 - Topps Echelon
Set Progress: 85/85 - COMPLETE

Why I Like: Reminds me a lot of 95-96 E-X, with the black borderless exterior, and almost holographic looking player photo, really love the silver leafing along the sides.

Yeah for 07-08 Echelon and Premier would be my top two with Ultimate Collection a close third, not a great year for the Exquisite design though.

Yeah I can't say I rate the 07/08 Exquisite design either.
