1st test selections

Pattinson, Starc and Warner making their debut and Cutting 12th Man.

I find the omission of first Copeland from the XII and now Cutting from the XI very odd; its Cutting's home ground and the conditions would suit Copeland.

Fingers crossed Siddle, Patto and Starc can make me look silly.

And now he's got him caught at point by Warner

New Zealand Have 2 Review's Left (0 Successful and 0 Unsuccessful)
Australia Has 1 Review Left (0 Successful and 1 Unsuccessful)

Play to Start at 9:30am Local Time.

Whats your take so Far?

Debutants Pattinson and Starc bowled well, taking wickets but also going for runs. I felt Copeland should of played and nothing that happened today makes me feel any differently.

Vettori is clearly New Zealand's most reliable and consistent batsman, so getting him out quickly tomorrow morning is a priority.

Australia won the day, but not by as much as they could have after Clarke dropped a sitter and Warner missed a chance too.

Bloody work got in the way today :D

Just re: Dan Vettori - how did our blokes bowl to him today? Unless I have long-term memory loss, I seem to remember Brett Lee attacking him on leg stump in 2001-ish in New Zealand, really tested him with bouncers and then the fuller one looking to hit leg peg.

Did we bounce him much today?
