What do you think of eBay private feedback

Was curious of what people thought of ebayers who have private feedback?
Personally i think it shouldn't be allowed, or they shouldn't be able to leave feedback for others
What are the hiding?

I've also noticed that when you buy from an overseas seller, after 1 month you can't leave feedback, it just disappears of your list. So annoying, or am I doing something wrong?

I think they do it to protect the privacy of the Buyers.
Sometimes it can also happen if you list a private auction.
As a seller preventing other potential bedders to track who is
bidding on your items.
The way paypal just coughs the funds back up for Buyers who
claim to have a problem these days... Feedback really means nothing!!

Perhaps the default setting is set for 30 days and you need to make it show it for longer periods?

Most of the recent rule changes on eBay/PayPal are BS anyway... they are just encouraging fraudulous activities as well as breaking the buyers down so they only have to deal with us one at a time and hammer us whichever way they want.

I definitely think there could be a huge improvement regarding online auctions and that a new force could come out to show ebay how it's done, much in the vein how facebook/twitter have evolved in social media aspect and showed us how painfully flawed myspace was.
