For sure - and in my eyes King Kenny hasn't improved Liverpool one iota - I'm pretty sure stats back that up too. He's spent a truckload of cash on Carroll, Henderson and others and the results have pretty much been the same. On form we should win but.......

/\/\ yeah, i agree, except i thought initially the players brought in (carroll not included) were alright, and they should have a good season, but in reality, theyre just as poor as they were last season and havent shown that theyre a quality side ready to make a proper top4 challenge.
youre right tho, the scousers could get a result, just not because theyre a top side...

Guys, I don't understand How Kenny has Done a Bad Job? His done way better than Roy Hodgson and a better job than Rafa Benitez in his last season. Liverpool deserve to beat Man City, they played brilliant and surprise surprise Mario Balotelli got a red card.

I'm not sure he's done that much better than Hodgson so far. I can't see Liverpool finishing top 4, but unless Dalglish walks, Liverpool will have a lot more patience with him than they would anyone else. Same as with Rafa, if he hadn't won that Champions League, he would've been gone a lot sooner. In that sense I think it is fair enough, too many clubs sack the manager too quickly.

If u show me the stats where he's done way better than Hodgson I'll believe you... Agreed they played better than City but they also only scored off a deflected goal... Not like they tore us apart...
As for Mario - we were due some bad....Atkinson had some interesting stats regarding red cards and Liverpool, that's for sure...

statistically hes only done a little bit better than hodgson. but he had to spend $50mill to do it.
they played well last night, but overall this season theyve been really poor on the pitch.

hodgson: 31games (13W - 9D - 9L) 41% win ratio.
kenny: 39 games (20W - 10D - 9L) 51% win ratio.

most of kennys extra wins came when he first rocked up. theyve been on the decline since then in my opinion.

Yeh its been on a decline. I think most draws have come from this year. Plus with Kenny his had a better start then Hodgson had last Year. Both goals in the match were lucky.

Lucky!!! try putting the ball in the net with your shoulder!!! ;-)

Liverpool seem to get up for the bigger teams and are rubbish vs the smaller ones....

Your in dream land if you think that was not deserved.

I think Kenny has done a better job than Hodgson - he had less of a squad than Roy did. In saying that Hodgson is definitely the better manager IMO

/\/\ was definately a 2nd yellow...
not sure how kenny has/had less of a squad than roy? squad size is about the same, and no one of importance really left (unless you count torres). hes also spent alot more money than roy did.

Best thing the Reds can do is get rid of Suarez while he still has a high price on his head. The dive after dive and cry baby antics when his team mates don't pass to him makes me sick.

And I'm a life long Reds supporter.

Under Hogdson they lost Torres (okay he is rubbish now but then was one of the best strikers in Europe), Mascherano, Babel, Benayoun - all first team players lost.

Kenny has spent a bit but its mostly on Suarez and Carroll. I dont think he has had much say on either of those signings.

babel and yossi were 1st team, but benched most of the time. babel in particular. never got a proper run @ anfield. and torres was already rubbish when kenny sold him. its not like any of those guys leaving made kenny's job any harder? granted, i forgot about mascherano.
he spent a fair chunk on henderson aswell. and downing.

If he is talking UCL he is spot on - other than that i hope he is right but think he is kidding himself. Maybe he wants to come play with Man U again.

/\/\ nah, hes talking epl title. fool.
thats not to say i think city will definately win it. my money is still on united. but to just dismiss them isnt right...
