NBA 2k12 my player

i'm a 6"5 scoring SG who got drafted #8 by the pistons. I then got traded to the nets which sent D'will to the pistons which was bull because the pistons where good. Anyways going to request a trade to NY they are interested in me.

44.8 PPG
9.6 RPG
3.0 APG
2.0 SPG

Pretty sure I'm not the only one here to do this but thought I'd share, this week I started myplayer again, as playing a centre wasn't as much fun as I thought it would be, so now I'm a sg/sf drafted to Utah, but before I started I went to 2kshare and had a look for a roster update with the new rookies people have created. There was a few to choose from so I took the one with the most downloads. This did t change the generic players in the rookie showcase and draft, but come season time when all those players oddly disappear I'm now fighting for ROY honors against the real rookies. And I must say whoever created the patch I downloaded has done a fantastic job of it. The announcers even seem to say most of the rookies names that I have played against so far which is good.

yep, i cant stand people that brag away when they average 50ppg and 12rbs and 10asts, but they play on the lowest difficulty setting. play on superstar please !

yeah shaun, i downloaded it to, i got the one with the updated player ratings..
heaps better than 2k's ones, and its far more realistic..

True that, I play on Superstar and I'm starting PG for Nuggs... average 19ppg 12ast 2reb in 43 mins and my career high is something like 37 points.

ok lets be honest, anyone else struggling in my player? i honestly cant seem to win games. no matter what i do. since starting again as a SG rather then C i have been more dominant which i thought would help, but it doesnt. no matter how good my personal performance is. i seem to be getting blown out more often then not. im getting seriously frustrated here.. and whats worse is when your out there busting your nut to stay in the game, then they sit u on the bench for a few mins with the score close, then you come back on down by 15 with no chance of ever catching up again! my Jazz are 5-13 i know there not the best team, but there not THAT bad. how do i fix this? i cant seem to see any game sliders to modify stuff like in previous years. do you play with plays turned on or off? does that make a difference? seriously i need HELP!!!!

First of all, you could try turning down your difficulty setting. But, I think SG would have to be one of the hardest positions to play. Since you can't just be a dominating scorer, essentially a SG's job, in my player you need to rely on the team you play with and a team like the Jazz probably isn't the best team to start out on. What kind of stats are you averaging?

At the momen I'm on 18ppg just under 2rpg 2ast 1steal 1blk, but there on the rise. Right now I'm on the easiest level. I feel like the CPU is just too accurate. They hit shots no matter who the shooter is or how good the d is. I feel like if we could turn Down the CPUs accuracy it would help make the games a bit more competitive.

Just started. 17 points 6 boards 3 steals in the showcase. Drafted 11th overall by Golden State. Off to the Bay Area is the 6'9" athletic power forward from Duke, James Wong. To team with Jeremy Lin and form the Asian duo off the bench for the Warriors!! :D

OKAY so Jeremy Lin never even gets on the court.

That aside, Golden State was a bad choice. Log jam with David Lee, Ekpe Udoh and Andris Biedrins. Through 8 games I was getting like scrap minutes, demanded a trade. Preferences were Bucks, Magic & Sun. All 3 teams without a quality PF and the Suns wanted to draft me 14th overall but I didn't slip that far.

In the meantime I've really started hitting my stride. Tallied 26 points, followed up by 24 points, 5 boards & 4 steals, and just dropped 22 and 7 boards on the Heat and LBJ/Haslem. After the game the trade went through. Here I am thinking that I'm in Milwaukee starting in the frontcourt with Andrew Bogut. Backcourt Brandon Jennings & Stephen Jackson.

To my horror I go to the transaction page where it says:
Warriors send - James Wong, Andris Biedrins
Bucks send - Stephen Jackson, Andrew Bogut

Can't believe it. Now I'm starting with Drew Gooden :\ B-Jennings aka Young Buck, and a washed up Michael Redd. Bucks are currently 14-9 good for 5th in the East. Hopefully we can keep winning.

What is absurd though is that Golden State is now 19-7 and just acquired Bogut & Captain Jack. So now their lineup looks like this:
PG - Stephen Curry/Acie Law
SG - Monta Ellis/Reggie Williams
SF - Stephen Jackson/Dorell Wright
PF - David Lee/Ekpe Udoh
C - Andrew Bogut/Ekpe Udoh

Ridiculous!!!

^ warriors Looking strong this season, maybe they could go all the way! Lol yeah the trades are ridiculous. Since I got drafted by jazz they have traded away kirilenko, millsap and Jefferson plus some others and seen players come in like Andrew Bynum, Paul George and Antonio mcdyess, the kirilenko for mcdyess and James Anderson was a very puzzling trade!

Yeah. ATM I'm the 6th man behind Luc Richard Mbah a Moute. But I haven't played a game yet. I figure I can win the starting position (my minutes are 30) in the next two games or so, then hopefully they will trade some pieces to get a center or good scoring wing in.

Don't know if I can take this team all the way to the Finals with strong supporting players except Brandon Jennings!!

In My Player mode i was playing with the Bucks and requested a trade to the Wizards.
Wizards get: Me and Brandon Jennings
Bucks Get: John Wall

Finally got the starting job and have played two games as the starting PF for the Milwaukee Bucks.

Getting the hang of this!
Game 1: 19 points, 8 boards, 2 steals, 4 blocks
Game 2: 20 points, 7 boards, 3 steals, 4 blocks

My dude is disruptive as hell! Good length at 6'10" has NO RATINGS whatsoever for steals but is getting them. Blocks only rated like 65 but is getting them too. Not the strongest on the boards, could probably afford to increase strength some - but very versatile.

All my freestyle practice has paid off for my offensive skill-set as well. Got the standard mid-range jumper, pump fake and drive, reverse spin off the defender finished with a layup at the rim, reverse half-spin then spin-back and lay it in, spin baseline, as well as backing down and the runner across the lane.

Loving MP mode with a big dude!

Just beat the Hawks who had the same record of 16-11 to move ahead at 17-11 and hold onto the 5th seed in the East.

Had my best game, outplaying Josh Smith and finishing with a teammate grade of A+ and 2200 skill points (8 minute quarters) thanks to 29 points, 9 boards, 1 steal and 2 blocks on 13/26 from the field.

Used my whole arsenal of moves, jump-shots and drives to get my points. Had a sick block on Marvin Williams at the rim as well. Got another endorsement after the game, the cover of 2K sports magazine. Loving it! My guy is really improving at an astounding rate. Averages are up to 12 PPG, 5 RPG and 0.8 BPG. Hoping I can get to around 18 PPG, 9 RPG and 2.5 BPG by the end of the season.
