Hi,

I used to collect back in the day, and gave up spending my money on them when i discovered girls and got a licence and car.
since then my cards have been sitting in storage. I hardly have an idea what i have but most are all from the 90,s and i have no real sentimental attachment to them and am willing to part with anything that people may want to complete collections.
i have mainly NBA of all brands, My collection did get raided 10 years ago and a lot of the high end stuff was taken out then. but is still some good stuff in there and heaps of sets including insert sets.
I also have heaps of non sport sets and have heaps of promo cards.

just recently Brett from paparazzi at the pooraka markets in adelaide has got me hooked again, and now i find my self spending more than my spare money collecting the Goodwin Champions set. ( i think i picked a bad set to start on tho

as for my old collection
My biggest problem is i dont even remember what half the cards look like, so if someone has it on a want list i dont know what im looking for when i go thru my collection, does anyone have any tips on making it easier?
i will try and respond to some want lists when i work out exactly what i have.

Goodwin imo is a nice set, some nice jersey cards and parallels and short print auto's in there.

As far as old stuff just look for Jordans and Shaq and other names that had a great career or are still maybe even in the league and inserts that strike you as being rare, 90's inserts are popular at the moment and some go for huge amounts.

Post up some pics and get some opinions or get an online beckett subscription and you can get an idea of values. that paired with ebay and help here should do you fine.

The goodwin champions are the only reason i have got back into the hobby, trying to get the base set including short prints is a nightmare tho, have opened 2 sealed boxes and 2 boxes worth of packs and still way off of the sp have had some decent hits on the way, with a sport royalty auto which is supposed to be one in 3,200 packs of bob griese, a /9 magician mini and a 1/1 printing plate.
and cheers for your advice, pretty much everything i have is from the 90,s like i said tho nothing really special. but i will work out how to use the photo bucket i think and get some pics up there, trouble is i have too many lol. used to collect everyone and everything.

Can vouch for Karl, good bloke and got him hooked on Goodwin and Sp Authentic .

Has a heap of 90's stuff if anyone is interested and has his own Chilli stall down at the markets where I am based.

thanks brett and yes you did get me hooked, not sure if i should thank you or abuse you tho! it definately brings back memories, but im not going to get into it as much as i used to, this time ill stick to one set at a time, not 10 at a time like before.

they grow fine down here, just dont have long seasons and it starts late.
I have sauces from ll around astralia and over seas. have chilli chipc, chocolate, sauces , jam , paste salsa chilli lollipops, chilli everything, have even got chilli jelly beans coming soon.

I joined as part of getting back into the collecting hobby, but if i can help ozcardtrader expand into chillis then so be it lol.
