Yeah same thing happened to me and Gids the other day "Game no longer available cause advancing"...but it was advancing in 2 hours...

oh it sounds like there might be another glitch then , computer it works fine but just that weird message when playing online ,

yeah im glad im in the east than , wouldnt want my playoffs simmed but hopefully your net sorts its self before than ,
 
Anyone noticed a difference in gameplay since the patch released? I know they said it was mainly for online improvement but my last 3 games since the patch i've suddenly taken a nosedive in 3pt percentage.

I see that Wombat left the league. I did also notice the reflection between team chemistry and player improvements. eg. Wombat has the worst team chemistry in the league (at 65% probably because he ignored team play and just bombed 3's all game) and he only has one single player that has gone up 1 point in ratings. My team chemistry is at 94% and i already have 6 players that have increased ratings by 2 and the other 7 are up 1. Food for thought. Besides rotation minutes for the benchies and winning i also believe sending out lots of trade offers also decreases chemistry.

Not sure if I've noticed differences...yesterday I hit my 1st 8 shots, including 6? 3 pointers :lol: so it seems things are still the same! Either that or I'm just good...I'd think it's probably the 1st explanation though.

As for team chemistry, not sure what mine is but I know my entire team is going up in ratings. Ridnour has even increased 2 rating points, and he was my FA signee! In the other leagues I'm in though, only half the team has increased in 1 league (but only 8 games played) and only 4 in the other...and yes I am hammering the trade activity/offers, so that could be a high determining factor! In this league I've made little or no trade offers.

Wom gone ey...trade offer to Thunder on the way! :lol:
 
I think yours is around 84% atm and you have Ridnour the only one that has gone up 2 so far. The only other team with chemistry near mine is the Grizzlies at 95%. They had Ranga who i'm not even sure logged in once (hence the no trade offers sent out). They also have 6 players up 2 points. LeBron is up 1 to reach 99 overall so i guess that means he's capped out :)

84%...yeah I signed a few FAs...and did 1 trade...so that'd make sense. It's cool the learning period of this. Seeing what does best. I like how players trade value is altered by their contracts and such too. I signed Eric Gordon in a different league and he dropped from 3.5 stars to 3 stars. Can't wait to see what post season is like! And then there's things like Bird Years and such...cause if Bird Years are in this...then I don't think I'll be able to keep all my young talent unfortunately.

So I just went to play EmVeeSpree, we both got stuck on the Starting Game loading screen. I reset my PS3 logged back on to play only to find that the game simed somehow and I lost :( Was on a 2 game winning run :(
 
That sucks. There have been a few games that have glitched like that.

Website access should allow us to reset those games as long as the game date hasn't been advanced past.

Nice deal for Przybilla that. Locks down the middle of the bench for another year.

Had a couple of good days with activity myself.

1. Ridnour resigned for 1 year 473k
2. Turiaf resigned for 2 years 3Mil
3. Darrell Arthur for 5 years 27Mil, starting at 4.5Mil, 6th year team option.

Now to get Green, Augustin and Young all to stop being money hungry!
 
Unfortunately had a sim loss to JayRoy last night...we just never seemed to be online at the same time! Took my record to 16-4.

Then ran all over Dallas this morning. They just got themselves Jamal Crawford and wasted no time in letting him jack up all their shots. Dwight didn't touch the ball until late in the 3rd! Was up 15 at quarter time, then 9 at the half, but exploded in the 3rd to be up 28 going into the last and ran away 24 point victors. Cousins playing on Dwight had 9/7/4 and 1 steals. Rudy Gay was particularly quiet with only 6 points and 5 rebounds on 2/7 shooting.

Think my next scheduled game is against Air-Diddy so we'll see if I can find him online soon. Team record now 17-4, leading the East, as the season is now more than 2/3 done for me. Now if only Young, Green and Augustin would put a bloody pen to paper!
 
Yes, Season is flying which i'm enjoying. Playoffs due to start in 12 days.

Talking about pen to paper, argh, Beasley is driving me nuts. Greedy SOB, i've offered him 10 mil more than the default and he still knocks it back

Tell me about it! Jeff Green's default is 4 years starting at something like 5.5Mil...but I have seen him sign in another league for 5 years starting at 9.09Mil! I have offered up to 8.5Mil starting and thumbs down... That's nearly double what I got Arthur to sign on for and he's 2 years younger and only 5 rating points lower! DJ somewhat likewise and Young has only just opened negotiations. On the plus side, they're all Restricted :lol: Looking like I'm going to be dropping 9Mil each on Green and DJ and Young is anybodies guess.

Well my team is officially broken and i have no idea why. Patch came out and i've gone on a 4 game skid since. Shots won't drop anymore, i'm shooting perfect release and getting a+ rating from 3 and they just dont go...yet nobody else seems to have an issue. Last game was about 3/13 from 3. I was getting close to 10 assists a game with Rose and now i get around 5 as my open shots refuse to drop. In the 2nd Qtr i scored 4 points, TOTAL! I was having 90 point games before and now i'm being held to 50-60...very frustrating.

Must have been an anti-Warriors patch. I went in and played a game in MB league on allstar and won :blink::blink:

Very odd! I had a moment after you mentioned it where I considered that it had changed, but then the games since that game have been back on track, so guess the team I played in that game must simply have been a better defensive team and the looks weren't as good as usual. DJ had 7/10 from downtown last game and I think I shot something like 16/30? as a team. What is the "A+"? Is that the shot quality rating? I haven't used that yet...just timing feedback. (Which I might add, I have to turn on EVERY SINGLE GAME now since I deleted the Home Data File the other day...it refuses to save my settings...)
 
Yep, turned on Shot Quality Feedback. Just gives you a rating on the Shot from A+ down to F based on the players range, their release point, whether they had a hand in their face, how far away the defender was at the time, whether you were in your players hot/neautral/cold spots....basically ever possible factor into play. Hence the Kevin Martin wide open look from 3 getting an A+ yet miss after miss.

Wow hadn't even thought to consider shot in traffic and such ratings :lol: I'll stick to my, "high rating for shooting from X range = good shot" mentality. However since playing Wom I have found I kick teams ass alot more since he taught me how to defend jumpshots...and I gotta say, it tends to be nearly perfectly effective!
