Don't get me wrong...I'd MUCH prefer him at the Dragons!!
But the simple truth is... Despite all the flack my beloved Tigers are copping,
They have done nothing wrong...
They gave a player permission to explore his options, He came back with a 3 year contract (To go with the contract is already under)
Any points made about "Verbal" Negotiations... Are just hearsay!!
Personally... I wouldn't be "Verbally" Negotiating ANYTHING that is worth almost $1,000,000.00
Surely the folks running these clubs are a little bit smarted than me???
 
In all fairness.... The flip flooping is flogged out in the Media.
God knows what happens or is said behind closed doors....
Moltz is hardly worth the Hoo Hah, The hype behind it
is granting him more celebrity than he is warranted.
It does make the Dragons look pretty stupid, I am wondering
if they Really, Really want Moltz.... Or if is more a matter of
the old "Red V" Pride has taken a wholloping!!
They have been Knifey-Spoonied.... Good and Proper!!
 
umm can you explain how the Dragons have been parading around like they are the be all and end all and how the world revolves around us??
Refer to post 660, explains how things are done in the NRL, your house example is irrelevant..
Dragons did exactly what every team has been doing for the last 20 years, its just that the Tigers decided to change things because Lui decided to bash his partner again...
And Stephen HumpfreiBBear is a tool he has been quoted extensively even as of last Monday saying he would be released, then 2 days later changed his mind...

off the books for next year...
I think you will find this has nothing to do with Lui, And should Moltzen be kept he won't be playing 7.
The Dragons F*cked up... They need to admit it!!
If they signed a $750,000 contract on Verbals with the Player Manager and Player, While he was still signed elsewhere...
Who's the fool... The guy offering the contract or the guy who still has the relevant one???
I wouldn't sign a contract to build a house before the bank gives me the money....

I think you will find that the truth has been stretched a fair bit on that, it's just to heap pressure on the Government, BUT their finances could be better, same as 14 other clubs, bar the Doggies and a couple more...

Your opinion is they have done nothing wrong mine is they have...
Heinington was told to look at his options he agreed to go to the Panthers on a 3 year deal, the Tigers in the meantime were told that Simon Dwyer MAY never play again, especially 2012, so the Tigers told Heinington he is staying now they will honour his contract...
Moltzen was told to look at elsewhere he did, he signed a contract, Humpfreys chucked a sissy fit because it was announced the day they were playing or the day before thats what he fumed about, Sheens mentioned in post game interviews about it, Benji mentioned it during the semis, but all of a sudden Lui belts his partner, deals is off...
Boyd is still contracted to us, but has signed with the Knights.......

Yep.... It's the Pride thing.
Just because the Dragons did what has been happening for 100 years don't make it right.
They signed a contract with out a contract release...
END OF STORY!!
 
It's only not right because it doesn't suit your club due to Lui....
Compensate us and you can have Tin Man Moltzen...

Moltzen isn't a half, don't know why everyone trys to relate this to Lui. Lui could have been helping old people cross the street on Mad Monday and this would still be happening now.

Look on the LU thread on this... And see the ramblings from Dragons fans. Things like "We are an elite side, They are a 2nd tier team"
It goes on and on and on... The Mighty Red V this, that and whatever. This is the perception held by the majority of Dragons fans... Find me another NRL fan that doesn't think it. Most Dragons fans are overconfident sprukers, With nothing better to do than rubbish every other team like you are still the super power of the
50's-60's. That is my point....
The fact is, Your club is a merged club (HA HA) that has done no better than the other one, Despite your money and cattle. If you get trumped on Moltzen, So be it... I'm not fussed!!
As for Humpty being a tool...... What does that say for your Douche??
And as for letting Boyd go... He is a spoilt brat that doesn't wanna be there with a get out clause that he has exercised!! And you can't afford him anymore anyway....

FACT IS... Moltz won't be playing 7 so this has no relevance to Lui.
There is much more unexpected cash freed up (McKinnon, Payto, Dwyer)
But they won't let facts get in the way of a good rant!!

Saints fans think we are the be all and end all, what planet are you from, EVERY supporter thinks their team is it, if i thought that the Eels where the greatest i would have supported them, of course we have arrogant/passionate/overzealous fans LIKE every other club in every other sport as well, this is footy, it's part of the game FMD, we have pride in our team and think our sh1t doesn't stink, so what...
Yeah we merged big deal, we are still the Saints / Dragons whats the issue, i have no problem with it, maybe you have an issue with the Wests Tigers merger?
We cant afford Boyd? well considering we had him signed for the next 3 years, seems your logic is a bit screwed, but again lets not let facts get in the way of your BS...

Seen a few tweets tonight saying that the Saints have resigned themselves to not getting Moltzen and are now chasing Carney.

whether the NRL agrees with us or not, we will release him IMHO , Carney is done and dusted to the sharks, always going to be linked with him due to Moltzen issue...
