Not giving the details of mystery card that easily - gonna have to trawl through some low end stuff first and earn it!

Some recent SP pickups

Topps Sigs Fax Red /869 - really quite a good looking card, shiny things tend to catch my eye! Quite an underrated set IMO the ol' Topps Sig series...
IMG_0029.jpg

Unfortunately both of these promo sheets were damaged in the mail.....very disappointing.

Classic Promo Sheet - got it because Mashburn features in a couple of the cards
IMG_00042.jpg

Kodak / Hoops promo sheet - 1991 Chicago Bull Champions - decided to fold and scan since it was damaged anyway :-(
IMG_00052.jpg

IMG_00062.jpg

The Much Maligned GU..........

DW8 and Stockton
IMG_0026.jpg

Dirk and Kidd......the most wanted duo going around since, um, Bonnie & Clyde!
IMG_0024.jpg

Nash and Stockton /499 - two of the all-time great PGs
IMG_0025.jpg

CP3, Kidd and Stockton /299 - past present and future of the PG position!
IMG_0027.jpg

Got wood? Kidd /299
IMG_0028.jpg

Good ol' fashioned SP GU! 2 x 4 on 4

Carter/Lopez/CDR/Ager & Miller/Iggy/Brand/Smith /65 - GOLD!
IMG_0020.jpg

IMG_0021.jpg

Gibson/James/Wally/Z & Stuckey/Hamilton/Afflalo/Brown /65 - THAT'S GOLD!
IMG_0022.jpg

IMG_0023.jpg

The Autos

Some under-rated and under-apprecited veteran autos

Michael 'Sugar' Ray Richardson /1179
IMG_0019.jpg

Baron 'Boom Dizzle' Davis/1079
IMG_0018.jpg

Andre Miller on card auto on quite possibly the ugliest card I've ever seen!
IMG_0016.jpg

Devin Harris on card auto /100 - great looking card and a great looking sig
IMG_0010.jpg

Some of the younger crowd....

Jerebko /199
IMG_0012.jpg

The future of Hornets basketball - Quincy Pondexter /299 (accidentally bought myself two of these so a different one features in an old mailday!)
IMG_0014.jpg

Part of a BJ Mullens RPM mini set...../499 and /25 respectively (doubled up on the /499 one too - D'oh!)
IMG_0015.jpg

The guy I almost started a side PC of instead of Quincy Pondexter - Mr Ekpe 'Nigerian Nightmae' Udoh! Great nickname to follow on from fellow Nigerian Hakeem 'The Dream'...
IMG_0013.jpg

Chase Holiday would've been a really cool name! Dual auto /99
IMG_0009.jpg

Wesley Matthews /250
IMG_0011.jpg

...and Wesley & friends (Lester Hudson and Toney Douglas) /49
IMG_0007.jpg

Some of those guys who deserve a bit of my collecting attention....

Little man with big hops! I would've given up on basketball if I were his height! Inspirational little fella!

Nate Robinson
IMG_0008.jpg

...and a mini AK 47 tribute. Thought he was going to be better than Wade and heaps of others when he first entered the league. Still a defensive beast!
IMG_0017.jpg

..and this SP Rookie Threads Patch
IMG_0003.jpg

Which gives me this nice double up effect. Might go for the print run - lol
IMG_0003.jpg

SAVE0628.jpg

Speaking of all things patchtacular!

A couple of good ol' SPGU triple threads

Big Baby / J Collins / J Collins /60 (friggin one colour patches p*ss me off!) :-P
IMG_0001.jpg

Miles / Pruitt and Kapono /60 - some staining on the Kapono patch which is weird since he hasn't left the bench since circa 2009!
IMG.jpg

Magic Johnson /49 - my second Johnson 'piping' patch
IMG_0002.jpg

.........and now introducing the really low numbered stuff!

Spencer Hawes Printing Plate 1/1 - seems to be the theme of the day
IMG_0004.jpg

IMG_0005.jpg

Finally some decent stuff - I'll let this bad boy speak for itself!

My first (second, third and fourth?) tag - ever! Pretty stoked with it - forgot all about it too! :-P

As always, thanks for looking and comments are always appreciated.

Sweet haul mate, love the Nate Robinson, little known fact about Nate, he was a gun footballer in his school days and has been offered a trail with the Seattle Seahawks since the NBA lockout.

nice!!! if that stupid one colour patch is a problem it technically has Jason Collins on it who was momentarily a wolf and is considered a wolf on the card so you know ;) lolololol

Nice pick ups there skip

how highly do you rate Q.P , i collect cp3 & have noticed a few nice pondexter patches on the market at
a really fair price, thing is i've never had a chance to see the kid play yet so i dont know he's potential

nice past, present & FUTURE quote also

I'm assuming he was a stout little running back - 1st & Goal - Robinson jumps over the line of scrimmage - TOUCHDOWN! I guess some guys are just natural athletes....

Jason and Jarron Collins - always got those two confused because they both played a similar game. So you've got your eye on the red, white and blue Minny patch? :-P

Heaps of nice Hornets patches - but I think there's at least one other Pondexter collector snapping them all up....

Pondexter is a hustle player still refining his jump shot, but he does have 3pt range and connected on a decent percentage from deep. Slashes into the paint with the best of them! Trains hard, always improves his game and has a level head on his shoulders. Got to see his high school and University campus when i was in the States (purely coincidental - drove past them and it dawned upon me where I was!) In the NBA he'll be a solid rotation player for sure. Oh yeah, check this out:

It is not a Minny patch, but he is wearing a Minnesota jersey on the card (it's what got my attention lol) and it says Jason Collins Minnesota... so yeah I have my eye on it ROFL

What a haul. The low numbers were great, but a great mix of players and eras. Good to see Wesley getting some love too!!

if you ever wanna cut up that bulls promo sheet mate id be happy to take the pip! loving the tag too! havent seen vivo round here for a while with his queesy's

I forgot he spent a year in Minny - so yeah we'll work that into our next deal! lol

Thought you'd like the Wesley's - have to take your hat off to those guys who make without being drafted and earn their stripes the hard way....

So, you're actually telling me I have a Pippen card you don't? :hearts: Unfortunately the crease runs right through the top of both promo sheets and right through the middle of that Pippen. Luckily the Mark Randall and Bobby Hansen emerged unscathed....

very nice mailday.... a nice spread of cards!

Cheers Matt - not quite a triple logoman, but I'm happy! :-)

good variety and some nice stuff there skip, can see you appreciate your cards!

The day collecting stops being fun I'm giving it away - not about book value but sentimental value for me, thus the ongoing quest for all things Mashburn continues!

That's a sweet mix of cards, congratulations on picking up your first tag.=D>

Thanks mate, I'm never going to land those huge drool worthy cards (long story - thy name be 'woman') so anytime I get something decent I feel like sharing it!

Oh man, what a great lot of variety you scored yourself there.
Thanks for sharing :)

Thanks Mike - bit of a shotgun mailday but that's what keeps it interesting!

Nice lil' tag there Skip

1 down and 90 something to go - will have more than you soon enough! lol

massive mailday skip! very impressive array of delightful cards

Cheers Branko, but might be taking a leaf out of your book soon and focus on more quality and less quantity... Random maildays can be expensive after a while!

Plenty of sick additions there buddy. The tag is obviously awesome but I'm also liking the triple patchs the printing playe and your definitely right about that Stockton topps sig and it being an underatted set!

You may be a notice quite a nice Q-pon in my next mailday i'll probably be posting tonight so keep your eyes peeled :)

Don't see many of those triple patches getting around - I think it's because there's always at least one dud patch in each one. I take it your a patch fan after seeing your Q-Pon and Hayward bombs you just dropped on us! Some people tend to hate on printing plates and facsimile sigs but I think they're pretty cool - Pro SIgs is another slow motion set chase I've got going on... Sweet, sweet looking cards.

Bring the Heat !!! Smoking hot mailday sir

Bring the heat? When it comes to maildays I always feel like the guy who turns up to a back alley brawl packing a pea shooter when other guys are carrying fully automatics! Hopefully the passion shines through the lack of BV! :-P
