He's not exactly back. He just needs to continue with this form. Well not exactly form seeing as he made a duck in the first, more like continue with this innings in more games.
Look its a good innings in what is likely to be a drawn match with nothing much at stake.
It's good to see him score runs, but he needs to do this consistently. If he puts together a string of good scores then ill be the first one here to congratulate you on being his number 1 fan.

He's The selectors new version of Marcus North... Doesn't do anything until he is in threat of being dropped, has 1, 1 GOOD innings and starves them of again...... and repeat.
Your man crush on Hughes is to point of just straight up laughable now...... If your eyes were not the shape of love hearts everytime you saw him/his name you would have a clue about cricket, you would KNOW like EVERYONE else knows that he is not the best Batsman for his position that Australia has right now, you are simply blinded by your man crush!
Good on him for making some runs, but again, it's an innings that is going to mean NOTHING in the scheme of things, drawn test in a series that we won in the first test..... If the series was on the line he would have FAILED AGAIN!
Once/if Hughes can make runs when we need him to on a consistent basis then I'll start thinking of him as a world class opening batsman... Until then he's just riding the fact his a NSW player and he has some kind of hypnosis over the selectors... That is all!

Seriously - you complain about people baiting you and you do this. Keep it up and I'll give you a week or two off to contemplate it.
At the end of the day he is an opener scoring a ton on a flat track like he is supposed to. Now if only he could score runs when it mattered he might actually stop copping the flack he deserves (not that you can see that as you have one eye open all of the time and he can do no wrong - heaven forbid anyone have anything negative to say about him)
True but I'd like to see him perform in a first Innings on a tough wicket when the test Match is there to be won!
He's done SFA on this tour except get some runs on a flat deck, I don't rate him and to be honest was hoping he would fail so the selectors had no choice but to get rid of him. All this century will do is let him hang around for another dozen or so failures! (IMO)
