UFC Goodbye, Farewell and Amen

Okay so that was the title of the final episode of M*A*S*H. Don't mistake me, I'm an atheist.

I think it's time to move on. Thanks for the good times everyone, but I think over the last couple of weeks my view of life has changed somewhat, and it's therefore time for me to make some changes. Tonight kind of sealed the deal.

For those of you currently waiting for orders from me, fear not they will make it to you.

Think I'll look in every now and then and check out everyone else's UFC breaks.

Hope you stick around on the forum even if you're not collecting cards! Never got to know you well but I've got to say that I've loved the Adrenalyn box you sold me, some of the most fun I've had from the hobby in a while! I'm sure the UFC community will be missing you. Take care Cormac.

I'm new here but its good to have other UFC traders to talk to and see what they pull.

Has you veiw of life from a cards perspective changed or a general perspective?

That's really unexpected! Altho I haven't had dealings with you personally I have watch a tonne of your busts and you definitely are the biggest contributor to the UFC community on this site.

If it's because the group break got shut down then thats a little weak IMO! It is clearly against site rules and has been for ages!!

If there is other reason, then all the best, I actually checked out a few of your UFC breaks without commenting, always love seeing different stuff being busted! Goodluck for the future mate!

Okay, after reading all of your posts and PM's, let me first say thanks for some very nice comments.

Now let me clear up a couple of things -
Yes I'm still collecting cards.
Yes I'm still running the website that I'm selling cards from.
No I did not decide to leave (or least take a very long break) because of the whole group break fiasco.

As many of you already know I survived a brain tumor in 2004. I'm very lucky to be here, but from time to time my health, medication, mood and ability to do my day job can take a nasty hit. With a number of incidents ranging from minor to fairly major over the past month, I have decided to simply my life as much as possible. I'm going to be working less, and (hopefully) making home life a lot less complicated.

With all this in mind I decided to leave. Maybe permanently. Maybe just for a very long break.
