I busted a box and look what i've found a 2011 Strike Top Prospect Gareth Widdop Player Card !!
I thought these cards were for the players to personalise out to there fans ? I was told that they were given 10 each well how did i get this in a box ?? It's a mystery anyone out there got the same but different players and not personally signed ?

Daniel, your links to the images go nowhere, so why not just scan the front and back of this player card you pulled from the box and just upload the images directly to your first post, if you can't work out how to do it, let me know and I will send you a step by step guide for numpties.

I actually like it. I bet because Select keep #001 they have to throw 1 of those in to keep ratios accurate. Kind of like someone pulling a Benji TP with no number. Just a guess though.
 
I guess that makes you a very lucky person, but if you sell it on eBay people probably think you know the guy.

My Widdop TP is also non numbered, only has player on it............me thinks the young fella got em all mixed up..................lol
 
Sure is, i'm gonna pull out all the error cards i've pulled over the last couple of years and throw them on eBay.

Yer, Select have said that Widdop was supposed to keep his 10 seperate but when they were handed back in he obviously didn't.
 
Funny that Widdop must've just signed the lot of them and sent them back, he couldn't care less! haha

I'd say Select's quality control was funny too, but laughable is more the word that springs to mind.

and we expect players to care enough to treat them carefully and keep them in MINT condition :lol: Yeah right. Imagine if a #001 slipped into packs? Everyone would question its authenticity though.
I wonder if this years tps, no number or player is rarer?
 
Geez that alot of money, i think its come to the point where error cards are overated, there becoming way to common.........was only 2 bidders that pushed the price up, would be interesting to see if another Widdop would go the same....
 
i suppose its pretty rare instead of /300 your bidding on /10, but still you wouldnt get me paying more than $50 for it.
