Yeah, in the earlier SG-1 series of cards he signed most of the stuff with initials RDA.
In SGU season 2 he signed 2 different cards, the one I posted and a SG-1 variant with his full name.
And yes when people come over (non SG fans) and they see the card and they say "Who's that?" I say its Macgyver.........OH! it is too.... lol
As far as I am aware there were ony a production run of 250 boxes. From the forums @ Rittenhouse Archives you were pretty much assured of getting an RDA auto from a box.
Apparently there were approx. twice as many SG-1 RDA autos than the SGU variant. So around the 80 mark would be close for the SGU version.
Strangely(IMO), Rittenhouse numbered the base set and chase cards but not the autos. I think they had left over SG-1 cards that they didn't use in any of the other series.
Yes, I did see him. He signed his proper name for me, "MacGyver". I was told he would only sign his name but he was happy to write a fourth name, so just like he does on the TV show he goes above and beyond what is expected.
