*NEW*Thundercats cartoons 2011

WOOOH!!!!!!! Massive fan of TCats as a kid! Panthro FTW mate. Thanks for this man, I'm on the hunt now. Thundercats, HOOOOOOOOOO!

I loved Thundercats but it was always behind He-man imo, cartoons were so much better back then T-Cats, He-Man, Voltron, M.A.S.K etc

Totally agree.
I used to like 'Silverhawks' back in the early 90's. It was like a space version of the Thundercats.
I watched a couple of episodes a couple of years back....... did not remember there being so much singing/music in it!!
Was pretty 'camp'.

I hope you guys are actually checking out the 2011 Thundercats episodes. They are better than most of the other cartons I have seen in recent years!

I grabbed s01e05 of TC 2011 today, really enjoying the series..............but speaking of camp, the latest episode of Torchwood Miracle Day had me cringing...................lol

Yeah I agree. All we get these days is hundreds of similar shows along the lines of Dragonball Z where all the characters have spiky hair.

Lol im sure it was better than Samurai Pizza Cats

Hey.... I liked that show!

Let's also not forget Transformers and Dino-riders!

i watched the first double episode and really enjoyed it. i thought it was a little dark for a kids cartoon, especially with all the killing that went on. i guess they are trying to strike a balance between kids appeal and acknowledging the adult fans of the series. but it does look promising, for a reinvention

Good point.

My thoughts on first seeing it was that they were trying to make something that the old fans could watch and enjoy still.

I definitely think the newer series is based more on nostalgia with the 80's generation rather then being aimed at the new generation. I have all the eps ready to watch but I just haven't got a chance to check them out yet. It does look like pretty good from what i've seen tho.

Also, while on the subject. Anyone watching the new Voltron series? It's called Voltron Force. There's been like 13 eps out so far.
