This is one of my all-time favourite ways to unwind. I love music so much im willing to go deaf by going to concerts and gigs.
In the short term, im going to see the Foo Fighters at the Opera House in October, Jay-Z, Rihanna, and Ne-Yo in October, and Pearl Jam in November.
Anyone going to any in the near future?

going to see the Butterfly Effect again this weekend.
Also going to see Killswitch Engage and Lamb of God on the 17th and will be going to this years BDO
Trivium is heavily rumoured in playing. Muse and RHCP have confirmed!!
Trivium are the most talented musicians going around :)

yeh ive seen the living end a few times, once at uni before they were big, and once at the Palace in melbourne with Area 7, and that rocked.... :D

Id love to have seen them before they got big. They would have played some rarities back then. I saw them all in 2003 and 2004. Met Chris Cheney and hes such a good bloke, signed some things of mine and went to the soundcheck too. In my old groupie days!

Not much action for me but my wife has tickets to see Pearl Jam and U2 in Brissy. I'll be baby sitting! I dig the Living End too. Anyone got a review on the Butterfly Effect album that's been advertised on TV?

no but it's my pick for album of the year, well worth the buy.
one of if not the best aussie group going around!

Cheers Metallica. I'll pick myself up a copy then. I've got "Begins Here" and it goes all right. Except for the fact you support the Demons, it sounds like you have pretty good taste:D

lol. you will be on the bandwagon when they win the 2007 Premiership

Yer Begins Here was a fine debut album, this is not as heavy which will get them more sales but is just as good if not better.

I WAS going to Tast of Chaos on the 10th Oct, until I find out I have an anatomy & physiology exam that will take up half of the concert, then travelling time woud chop out another 30 mins at least so I can't go! I am devestated! :(

cheney is one of my guitar idols, what a player! i saw the living end on their first tour in 96 supporting green day, heaps of people boo'd them for some reason (the same wankers who were probably wearing their t-shirts when prisoner of socity went huge  ) since then ive seen them about 15 times, mostly late 90s, i havent been to one of their shows since about 2001. easily one of the most energetic and coolest live experiences ever!

Tickets are rumoured to be over the $100 mark! Love to see them, but that is Big Day Out prices, are they really worth that much by themselves?
