Man night shift sucks

Im on night shift this week, Not many people online and before i go to bed when i get home heaps of people on line.

Any one else work shift work?

yeah mate, i only work nights. Leave home at 10 pm and get home around 7:30am then sleep most of the day.

I feel your pain man. I leave at 4pm ... Get home at 4am ... Monday thru Thursday. But I do get every Friday, Saturday & Sunday off ... So at least I get that.

Night shift screws with your body clock and eating habits man, glad I don't do that **** anymore, couldn't adapt to it

i work the night shift every two weeks out of four weeks. at least when the season was on i could watch basketball in the morning before going to work

I did night shift for a little while and it sucked going to work when most people were heading home. I'm happy with working day shift in an office because I can check the site throughout the day

I work shift also does take a bit to get used to but love the variety of starting/finishing times I can encounter fortnight to fortnight on the railways. $$$ are gd also for night shift hrs

I'm a shift worker also but I would take a 9 to 5 with the same pay any day night shift is a nightmare!!!

I used too, now I have gotten a promotion and will never work another night shift again! 25 years of on and off night shift. Gives you good amount of time to trade and work on the hobby though if your not too busy!

I did night shift for 5 years - loved it when l was single. 4 days on and then 4 off, but it does catch up with the body. Now doing 9 - 5 and the body feels much better.

That is what I have been doing for the last year... Though my start times were not the same every day.. so I had jet lag at least once a week. Thank god thats over!

Its crazy when you're on and off the night shift...body is stressed too much.
