Hayne in Kings Cross punch-up | thetelegraph.com.au

PARRAMATTA'S superstar fullback Jarryd Hayne has been involved in an overnight brawl in Kings Cross.

The Daily Telegraph understands Hayne was head-butted by a patron at the Beach Haus nightclub.

He had been attending a friend’s birthday party, according to Eels CEO Paul Osborne.

Osborne said Hayne had this morning lodged a complaint with police over the incident.

“We are still investigating the matter,” Osborne said, “At this stage we believe he did nothing wrong.”

More details this afternoon as they come to hand.
 
Ahh the good old Cross .... Poor old hayne . It must suck having such a high profile and every w.....ker out there wants a peice of you.
 
hmmmm. i don't like the guy, but steves right, that must suck and i still feel for him in that respect
 
maybe a happy dogs supporter giving him some stick after friday nights game ....but have to agree its not really the place to go with a high profile like his

Got to love Twitter. We should have a thread for stupid things athletes say on Twitter.

Maybe if he stood for playing well for Parramatta and went to "WAR" for them they would not be staring down a wooden spoon.

But its fine not to like someone, I just don't get how idiots like this (the head-butter, not Hayne), think it gives them the right to do something like this to someone minding his own buisness... He was at the Cross, so what? Not everyone goes there to get in a fight, someone, like Hayne, might actually be in there for a GOOD TIME! Kings Cross/Surfers/centrally located pubs and clubs aren't the sole property of bogan ****ers with insecurity issues!!! The ONLY person at fault here is the knob who couldn't control himself being around alcohol and someone with a bit of profile...

hmm interesting. wouldnt be the first time we have seen hayne do a head butt. eg slater and corey payne.

Given last time he had a confrontation at the Cross he got shot at perhaps he should learn to walk away from trouble.

Yeah i know he should have a right to do what he wants but he is a professional athlete and these are the sacrifices you make for the privilege of earning $500K+ a year.
