"OPEN TRAINING SESSION
The Pirtek Parramatta Eels are urging fans to join them for an open training session next Wednesday 27 July at Parramatta Stadium.

The 12.30pm session will run for 1-hour and be an ideal opportunity for all fans to see their favourite Eels players in action as they prepare for their Round 21 clash against the Melbourne Storm.

There will be an opportunity to have pictures taken with the Eels players at the conclusion of training."

Newtown Jets v Auckland Vulcans

Kick-Off: 3.00pm.

This is shaping up as one of the best NSW Cup fixtures of the season. Both clubs have named very strong sides and it is a clash of the 2nd placed Vulcans up against the 4th placed Jets.

The New Zealand Warriors NRL squad and staff are all going to be at Henson Park to take in the show."

I'll have to go to eels to get Webb and morts as the Panthers v manly is on. Don't wanna miss whoppa cause he won't be back for 2 years.
 
Might pop down to the Parra training...
Henson Park sounds interesting as well, used to love going to watch the footy there, grew up in the next suburb, had a relative who live less than 20meters from one of the entrances...
 
I would be fairly happy if someone could get NZ Warriors set of Strike signed to trade with Titans or some Cowboys Strike signed. Cheers
 
In terms of sigs Jets V Vulcans game on Sat will be slimmer pickings as not many first graders with cards etc PLUS Jets are the feeder club for Roosters who play that night so they won't be there supporting the lower grade.

Dogs V Wenty on Sun has plenty of first grade experience with many player cards to get signed. Add to that the Dogs and Parra play Fri night, I reckon a few of Fri nights players will watch. I'm also tipping Ben Barba will be there as he lives in Wentworthville as far as I'm aware.
 
Will be taking the little guy to Henson Park, he has pre-school Wednesday so I'll be riding solo at the eels day.

Hope to see some of you guys there.
 
If some body is going to the Parra Fan day. if possible can I ask for to get the 2011 Strike CPOY, TOY and AW cards signed by the appropriate players. Willing to trade or buy the signed cards as I want to get signed sets of these.

I'd come myself.. It's a little far from Townville though........... It seems so much easier for you guys to get auto than up here.....
 
5 cards for the "Plane" to sign for me this set. He's normally pretty good if you ask politely but as Mischa might have noticed he dissappeared out the back door the other night after the game while the other players signed stuff. Fair enough though he does get a bit inundated by the Parra fans.

Thurston is on an 'even' playing field with Hayne.. And he ALWAYS signs.. He will stand there for hours and hours and sign until there is no one left there.. Sometimes I just think players forget their fans....... Bowen is another one who is awesome..
