Wow what a troll. Go back to the AFL section. People that shut up and dont say anything when they are getting screwed are the ones that dont get anywhere in life. I love collecting cards but for the price we pay we deserve better. Its not like i am buying a few packs of Champions and having a whinge. Anyways peace out.

No, the people that communicate in a civil manner are the ones that get somewhere in life. Yes have your say, but do it in a way that you would like to be treated. Otherwise dont expect to be helped.

Let me ask you this, HAVE YOUR EVER RANG SELECT WTH YOUR CONCERNS?? im guessing no, gutless....
They have a business to run and they have offered the people concerned a solution, if they choose not to take it, then they can not be helped can they.
Everybody knows if they get cards that are damaged that you only need to contact them and they will replace them....

I am in no way saying that the original poster shouldnt be concerned, as i would also be mistified as to why they would send it back as requested when the items were supplied, but there is certain ways to handle situaution, and you have absolutely NO IDEA!!

I have had numerous phone and email conversations with Di at Select over the years, thanks for asking. They usually take no notice. If you think a damage rate of 1 in 10 is acceptable then go and have a good hard look at yourself mate.

I like to be told straight up, which is exactly what i did. What is the difference between Facebook, Email, Phone call or in-person? They got the message and i have no obligation to keep it quiet.

Take 2009 AFL for precident, all the cards that were sent back (scratched sigs) were destroyed, and remade, renumbered and resigned..... it can happen if the correct approach is taken....


Also, they have a certain amount of spares that can be restamped for this exact situation.....

If 10% of the cards out of a box are damaged work out what that is going to cost to send 300-400 cards back and forth. You have completely missed the point here mate, nice of you to stand up for your company though.

Think what you like, i have no connection with select, but i have spoke to the production managers numorous times etc, so it is not hard to find out such information...
And guys i am not saying to shut up and say nothing, as they do need to know, theres just better ways to go about it, because you get fools like Ooneil who ony get through each day by responding these types of situations. Sad....
