I remember asking a similar question a few years ago....busted the whole thing wide open......this will end the same way.
Actually you are wrong there.....your IP address will change each time you connect to the internet.
You will have a similar IP address if using the same internet service but the ISP's allocate dynamic IP addresses meaning a new one each time you connect.
PLUS
It's easy to access the site through a work site (that allows it) meaning a completely differen IP address again!
Hmm I guess youre right there, but it really depends on which IP he has static or dynamic, because he might have static meaning its always the same
Maybe we could cross reference all of the IP hes logged on with and see if any are the same as Amy's? It might help a lot and wouldnt hurt to do it
Not all do and the ones that do CHARGE for it so it would be pretty rare to have that for personal use!
A Static IP is better if you intend to host servers etc with your connection, as your IP address won't change (although you can request a new IP if so desired), so users will always know what address to connect to.
So for the "average" user it makes no practical difference
