Okay have had a few cards come rolling in which included some sought after PC and set chase items which flyinggerco (the Mikan collector) and postgsl (otherwise known as OCT's Santa) chipped in for nicks so big shout out to both of you fellas! Your genorisity actually made me get off of my keyster and scan some cardboard! So double benefit for me!

Before I get onto the set chase and PC stuff here are some random cards I picked up in a lot a while ago....

The awe inspiring random GU....

Webber Winning Materials
SAVE0729.jpg

Battier Triple Artifacts /50
SAVE0722.jpg

Westbrook / Love Dual
SAVE0717.jpg

The Mailman /49 (19 years and 0 rings - sad - but great concept card though)
SAVE0725.jpg

The awe inspiring random autos ...

TJ Ford (surely deserves a larger role somewhere - would be ideal in Miami and think he might be free agent this year....?) and Spencer Hawes (dude reminds me of Dean Cox) Super Scripts
SAVE0709.jpg

SAVE0710.jpg

Derrick Caracter Rookie Recruits /299
SAVE0711.jpg

JR Giddens Signature Flights (nice sig - albeit choped off - and wicked card design would go for the set but for the Jordan!)
SAVE0715.jpg

Jason Smith SPX (GU auto /825)
SAVE0712.jpg

Darrell Arthur Sig Threads /599 (dang these cards are awesome! lmk if you need it Kiwi)
SAVE0707.jpg

Marvin Williams Sheet Shot Radiance auto (#2 pick indeed..........)
SAVE0714.jpg

Josh McRoberts Sweet Beginnings Auto /699
SAVE0708.jpg

Gilbert Arenas Tops Signature Series /1199 (my first Hibachi auto although more of a slow cooker these days...)
SAVE0706.jpg

Hasheem Thabeet TT GU /auto #49/50
SAVE0713.jpg

Set Chase Progress

Shaquille O'Neal Court Kings Boxtoper /349 (freebie from postgsl - absolute legend mate - appreciate it! One of the few boxtoppers I haven't seen around much at all)
SAVE0761.jpg

Willie Cager Famed Sigs /899 (although I generally have an anti willie caging agenda - hah)
SAVE0762.jpg

Harry Flournoy Famed Sigs /899
SAVE0748.jpg

Bailey Howell Famed Sigs /599 (very impressive stats btw...)
SAVE0749.jpg

George Mikan Famed Fabrics #13/99 (as sourced from our very own Mikan collector himself - had a dupe and made sure i had dibs for my set chase so I guess 13 is lucky for some)
SAVE0757.jpg

The PC Items

Jamal Mashburn Magic's All Rookie Team & TSC Destiny (couple more freebies from postgsl both of which I didn't have - says a lo for Garth but not much for my PC!)
SAVE0759.jpg

SAVE0760.jpg

Quincy Pondexter joins the PC fold (just limiting hsi stuff to autos and patches only because gee willickers what a cracking auto it is! :-P )

10 11 Contenders Rookie Ticket
SAVE0750.jpg

10 11 R&S Team Patches
SAVE0716.jpg

BIG boost for the Mashburn PC - big full sig (first and last name which is quite rare) and great centering and legibility. Overpaid like a retard but had missed out on the same card twice already so had to have it!

Signature Shots Auto
SAVE0758.jpg

Oscar Robertson NT Century Legends
SAVE0755.jpg

#10/10 - ebay 1/1! Freebie from flyinggerco - superstar! All sorts of ebay 1/1 scenarios there given he wore 1 for the Bucks.... Numbering backwards for example....
SAVE0756.jpg

Anyhoo, this is the big card addition in recent times - i've seen better but it is numbered #19/25 and quite well centred...

Larry Bird Ultimate Big Game Signatures!
SAVE0763.jpg

Thanks for looking and comments always appreciated. Not the biggest or best mailday but happy with the set chase progress....

Re: Why OCT is so bloody good + set chase / PC updates and the usual random suspects.

Really nice additions there Skip. You got a list of the Famed Sigs and Famed Fabrics cards that you still need.

I reckon your Mashburn collection will be epic after Chicago.

Re: Why OCT is so bloody good + set chase / PC updates and the usual random suspects.

Famed sigs is coming along nice and fast, will look awesome completed.

I dont need the SP Rookie threads if you pick up anymore though let me know.

20 more boxtoppers, 11 famed fabrics and 45 more famed sigs - one big set chase that last one!

Affordable mash could be hazardous to my finances! Will PM you later on Garth...

I still have 45 to go mate so feels like I only have a drop in the ocean....

Very nice skip!!! Love the Bird and that shaq box topper is a great action shot!

Quintessential Shaq with one of his 60% FG% shots.... Wouldn't be the same card if he was shooting a FT!

Re: Why OCT is so bloody good + set chase / PC updates and the usual random suspects.

Sweet sweet Mikan Skip, that is a nice card that one....good to see more OCT genrosity!

Sweet sweet Mikan Skip, that is a nice card that one....good to see more OCT genrosity!

Had to cough up for the Mikan but got another great freebie with it - robably one of the more difficult famed fabrics to get!

Definitely one of my better Mashburn autos and yes those boxtoppers are iconic - captures what the players are all about in a nice mini portrait format.

Hahaha

I'm glad somebody appreciated that! Free Willy!

Sick Mikan! Love that set!

HOF is one of the great under-rated products IMO - no Derrick Rose or John Wall but give me Oscar and Bill Russell anyday!

Awesome Thabeet! Nice Robertson, Bird Auto! Sensational Mailday!

Thabeet is up for trade if you want it..... Big O was a nice surprise and any lowish numbered Bird auto is good to have!

Wow, awesome stuff!

Agreed - flying gerco and postgsl - great great guys!

damn mate epic stuff there. love the mash sweet shots sig looks epic...and the larry bird is awesome, look like he's getting shaky in his old age.

Couldn't ask for much more of a Mash auto - and I guess that shaky nerves must be what you get for being president of the Indiana Pacers!

So many nice pickups Skip. The auto on the Mash signature shots is a beauty - looks perfect!!

...as fluid as his high scoring game! ;-)

Re: Why OCT is so bloody good + set chase / PC updates and the usual random suspects.
