They will put you in a dark room, with a lamp shining in your face, there will be a car battery with wires on the floor, a jug of cold water, you will be tied to a chair, battery wires will be put on your chest and groin area, then turned on, you will scream SELECT IS GOOOOOOD, the jug of water will be thrown in your face, then scrunched up common cards from the 2011 series will be forced down your throat, you will be finally let out and convinced that the series for 2011 is under priced and 2009 club player of the year is a master stroke....

I reckon it's a great opportunity! At least we could get an answer as to why the Nrl set is treated like crap compared to the afl, why we don't get signed box cards, who designs the cards, why they have the same boring subsets year after year, etc. Good that select are listening to their customers at least.

2009 player of the year though ...

Nah - they would just be looking to brow beat you with the corporate line. Your giving to much credit there James, they have not listen to their customers in years. You think they would have learnt from the disastrous 2010 champions release

it is getting pretty repetitive with the inserts. team of the year, club player of the year, top prospects and predictors years after year...im not loving the promo cards that i have seen on ebay either...strike looks to be another miss at the moment

Guys, i have no more bad things to say about Select. They have been looking after us collectors since their 1992 Stickers release and in the 2000s strived to bring collectors quality cards which were long overdue.
While i understand alot of you guys are disappointed with the 2011 Strike Promo cards, please hold your judgement till you see the checklist and cards inhand. Thank you for your understanding and please continue to support Select Australia.
