Haha I already have an account. Uses really realistic statistics and stuff haha, updates every 3 months for ratings. If enough people want to play, maybe we could set up a league
Yeah Championship Manager the way to go. Even the early 1992/93 (think it was Football Manager then?)
Best thing I find, is buy them two years or so after they come out, get a cheaper game and a heads-up on up and coming talent.
Although back in '04 (I think) Manager, having things like Pat Rice telling me that "signing Ronaldo from Sporting Lisbon is not a good idea" happen occasionally
Will have a look at this online version though. Cheers for the link

nah, back then it was champman. then in 2003 or so the company (eidos) split into two and they created football manager. the best of the lot is champan 3 (2000-01). they still make update patches for it (10 years after release!!!), so you can have current players, rules etc. and it has the best interface.
i remember weekends wasted on the original champman (1992). as addictive as crack flavored pringles...
Champ Manager dominated my school life. I don't think I ever did homework or classwork without opening my laptop and starting the game up.
Then Football Manager came out, I played the first one and gave up after that.
