What do you think of this eBay item

I was watching this and i think its utterly insane - you could get these pictures for free off the internet and print them yourself.

Also i know a guy that has a photocopy set - I was pretty excited to see them but in the flesh they are pretty disappointing.
 
Yeah i bid $2.00, thought for time and effort worth no more than $20, i was shocked when i say the final price, as you said you could do it yourself, wonder if we will see a whole bunch of stuff now been copied and sold...

Yeah im unsure who would hold the copyright to it these days. Im pretty sure that select pays for the right to use the Scanlen's logo so it must be someone.

If anyone wants a photocopy of my 2009 Champions set let me know:lol::lol::lol:
 
I was watching this too. Couldn't believe it went for that much.
Call me a conspiracy theorist but I reckon there are ppl out there with great printing tools at their finger tips, printing things up and calling them genuine. This guy was at least honest in his description of the product. There are a lot of excellent quality Scanlens stuff coming up all the time which often raises a brow.

Yeah i have had the same thought on Scanlens stuff - fortunately the cardboard they used is so poor that I think it would be easy enough to spot a fake.
